Helping Goddess (Lore)

Access GPS

The Helping Goddess taps into the Goddess Positioning System, which tracks geographic information and goddess locations. This enables her to tell exactly where she is.

Red Map Line

  • Prerequisite Charms: Access GPS

Accessing the Goddess Positioning System, the Goddess prints out a map which depicts her current location and a place she'd like to go to, with a red line showing a good route. The target location must be known by name in some way--Rumstell House Ruins is fine, 'Where Georg is Hiding' is not.

Abstract GPS Request

  • Cost: 6 motes

The Goddess accesses the GPS and prints out a map of the surrounding area (100 * Moe miles in radius) which depicts natural features, natural resources, and noteworthy natural dangers. It also tags the Dragon Lines and any manses or desmenes. It does not show where any Exalted are, however.


Plan Reality Assembly Language Protocol Project

  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Lore: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 1
  • Prerequisite Charms: Basic Lore Protocol

No RALP project will get anywhere if you don't get past the planning stage. This protocol simplifies the process. You can reduce the difficulty of the Planning roll in RALP creation by 1 for every 2 motes you spend; you can reduce it by up to your Moe.

Re-Use Plan Components

  • Cost: 3 motes / 1 auto-success
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Subtle/Mental
  • Minimum Lore: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Plan Reality Assembly Language Protocol Project

Why bother writing the plan from scratch when you can crib from other projects? This allows you to turn one die into an auto-success on a Lore check related to RALPs at a cost of 3 motes. You can convert a number of dice equal to your Moe.


Swift Planning

  • Cost: 5 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Speech
  • Minimum Lore: 5
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Re-Use Plan Components

You can now complete the planning stage of creating a RALP in one turn, assuming you succeed in the necessary roll, anyway.


Repel Shaping

  • Cost: 2 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Re-Fun
  • Minimum Lore: 2
  • Minimum Moe: 1
  • Prerequisite Charms: Basic Lore Protocol

Faced with an effort to hack her own personal code, the Goddess quickly backs herself up and prepares to overwrite any changes made by the attack. This allows the Goddess to reflexively defend herself against a Shaping Attack, rolling Wits + Lore as her defense. This can also parry any mutational environmental effects.

Mirror of the Self

  • Cost: 3 motes
  • Duration: Instant
  • Type: Re-Fun
  • Minimum Lore: 3
  • Minimum Moe: 2
  • Prerequisite Charms: Repel Shaping

The Helping Goddess, sensing an attempt to overwrite her self, quickly codes a mirror to the attack, reflecting it back upon her enemy. She rolls her Wits + Lore vs. the Moe of her foe. If she succeeds, then she gets a shaping counter-attack with the same number of dice as her foe used on her. This is resolved before she takes damage from the incoming attack. This does not, of itself, stop the incoming attack. (But you can combo this with Repel Shaping and get a free defense from that.)

Citadel of the Self

  • Cost: 12 motes, 1 WP
  • Duration: One Scene
  • Type: Re-Fun
  • Minimum Lore: 4
  • Minimum Moe: 3
  • Prerequisite Charms: Mirror of the Self

The Helping Goddess now uses her sense of self to build a powerful shield around her vicinity. Once activated, this charm shields a region of 5*Moe yards around the Helping Goddess. She may reflexively parry any incoming shaping attacks on this area with her Intelligence + Lore.
