Steward

Celestial Lion Spirit
Cost: 5 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: One Task
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Charisma: 2
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: None
A Lunar's devotion to his Lord is matched only by the Celestial Lion's devotion to Heaven. Activating this Charm, the character receives his lord's command in the same manner as one hears that something must be done for the sun to rise the next day. His world hinges on it. All vanish from his mind but this truth... and with such focus the Lunar becomes able to push past his limits to make his Lord's will come true.

When the character activates this Charm the Lunar must have received a task from a superior which must be possible, relatively simple, and the Lunar must have a clear idea on how to begin it. While this Charm is active, he adds one success to all rolls related to the chosen objective, increases his dice-adding limits to his Attribute+Essence and ignores all fatigue penalties.

Until the object it attained, the character must make a successful Willpower roll in order to take actions not related to the received command for a Scene. All such actions receive a penalty of -2 dice. Ending the Charm before concluding the task requires a Willpower roll with a difficulty equal to the Lunar's own Conviction, which can only be attempted once per scene. It cannot be reactived unless one receives the command from another once again. If the task becomes impossible the Lunar will lapse into a morose state wherein he suffers a penalty of -2 dice to all actions and cannot regain Willpower with Conviction rolls or Nature fulfillment. This morose state will last for a number of days equal to the Lunar's Conviction.

The Lunar may activate Rages with this Charm as he would with Relentless Lunatic Fury.

This Charm is a Focus and is incompative with the activation of any other Focus-Type Charm.

Like all social animals the Lunar Exalted can thrive in following the orders of an alpha. With a pledge the Lunar promises his Lord to accomplish a single task. This task must be possible, relatively simple, and the Lunar must have a clear idea on how to begin it. As long as the Lunar works towards this task he receives a 2-dice bonus to all actions towards fulfilling the task but receives a 2-dice penalty to all actions that do not involve it.

This Charm may be activated multiple times, and its benefits stack, but with great danger! Each time he receives an order which opposes another order, he loses 1 Willpower point and cannot regain it until his superiors alter their commands such that they do not come into conflict.

Those protected by a Lunar Exalted can sleep without worry - for the shadow of a Silver-Blessed protector falls over the lands, a feral authority, the great monster making all within its boundaries behave. During the Full Moon the Lunar must spend an entire night walking around the lands controlled by his lord and howling to the moonlight. All those conspiring against the ruler or attempting to overthrow him cease their plotting and no other plots will arise for the next Lunar month - entire underground movements may become dust in fear of the Lunar. Those with Essence greater than the Lunar's own can retain their plots if they spend Willpower equal to the Lunar's Permanent Essence rating.
