Guard

Den Mother Method
Cost: 2 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Wits: 2
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: None
Using his superhuman reflexes and their incredible rapport to all they pride as part of their society, be it pack or herd or hive or stranger still, a Lunar is able to move with speed faster than the eye, and stop any attempt to harm those he is responsible for! This charm allows the Lunar to parry any attack he is aware for any ally within his normal movement rating in yards. It grants a parry at the Lunar's full pool, and even if it does not fully deflect the attack, its successes aid the ally's own defense against the attack. With a ranged weapon, the Lunar can stop ranged attacks against others as well as he would stop them against himself.

Feline Guard Technique
Cost: 5 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Wits: 2
Minimum Essence: 1
Prerequisite Charms: None
Like a cat, the Lunar is always wary, always ready to respond to attack. By means of Feline Guard Technique the Lunar receives a Full Parry pool for the turn - just as if he had aborted his action to parry. This Full Parry action works independently from his normal action, including the use of the Lunar weapon's rate(which limits the number of attacks the Lunar may parry with his Full Parry pool, but does not interfere with the use of the Lunar's weapon rate in any other action during the turn). This Charm can only be used once per turn, and so, the Lunar cannot 'refresh' this pool, but he can reflexively buy extra rate, for defensive purposes only, at a cost of 1 mote per rate added. This may be done at any point on the turn this charm was activated With a ranged weapon, the Lunar can use his ranged ability, be it Archery or Thrown or even Martial Arts, to stop a projectile(but not a close combat attack) with one of his own. For this and all Charms that have Feline Guard Technique as a prerequisite, the Lunar may exchange his Dexterity for his Wits in his Parry attempts.

The Lunar rolls Wits+Combat Ability as a reflexive action. One success allows her a Perfect Parry against a single attack. Three successes allow this Parry to be used to defend a single being within her Permanent Essence in yards - or to protect the Lunar and all allies within this range against a single area attack.

This Charm gives the Lunar a counterattack at his full dice pool. Lion in Wait Stance
Cost: 5 motes, 1 willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Wits: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Crouching Tiger Stance
The Lunar is king of all hunters, and none may approach him unless he deems them worthy of doing so. Any fool who dares to approach his power and majesty without his consent is as good as dead, as the Lunar's stance will shift effortlessly to destroy him. In the turn this Charm is activated, the Lunar may not move more than his Valor in yards. However, the Lunar may make an automatic attack at his full offensive pool against anyone within his reach, or anyone foolish enough to approach this area during the turn. Those automatic attacks are considered counterattacks. The Lunar may instinctively react to and strike spirits during the turn this Charm is active.
