The Gauntlets of Distant Claws are always found in pairs, and can only be used as a pair. They reduce all Athletics rolls involving climbing by 1 (to a minimum of 1). The character may fire the claws as a projectile attached to an unbreakable chain. Retracting the chain and claw is a reflexive action. These weapons are made from the Five Magical Materials and gain the appropriate benefits. The left gauntlet has a setting for a single hearthstone. All other abilities as per Castebook: Night.
