Concealment Charms

Flickering Moonsilver Shadow
Cost: 5m, 1wp; Mins: Wits 5, Ess 3; Type: Reflexive
Keywords: Combo-OK, Obvious, Fury-OK
Duration: One scene
Prerequisite Charms: Thieving Magpie Prana
The Steward's motions are faster than the eye, and misdirection opens fatal weakness; enwrapping herself in shifting light and shadow, her strikes are cloaked from those unable to overcome the puzzle. When the character first attacks an opponent, she compares a static total of her Wits+Essence, against her opponent's Dodge MDV. The opponent's Dodge DV against the first attack she makes in any given action is reduced by the difference, but cannot be reduced to an amount below their Perception.
This is not explicitly a stealth charm; however, if the Lunar's anima is at the 8m level or higher, targets receive +1 to their MDV to resist the effect.

Reaction Charms

Herd-Scattering Reaction
Cost: --; Mins: Wits 4, Ess 3; Type: Permanent
Keywords: None
Prerequisite Charms: Meerkat Alertness Practice
A Steward's alertness is as a clarion call to response; her allies come to recognize even the subtlest cues of her reaction. This is a permanent enhancement to Meerkat Alertness Practice; when that charm is invoked, allies within [Essence x10] yards receive +(Lunar's Wits) dice to Join Battle, Debate, or War rolls. This does count as a dice bonus from charms, limiting any charms of the allies themselves, and if multiple Lunars invoke this effect, only the highest Wits total is used.

Comments

Flickering Moonsilver Shadow: This charm is basically my attempt at unraveling the Rogue's Paradox that's become all too present in Exalted -- Stealth when used in combat is so powerful if successful, that it effectively can never be successful, and thus, it becomes worthless; this charm, and others I may make like it for other Exalt types, intend to make stealth in combat a bit less binary, and more of a gradient, so it can be used without breaking the game or requiring every important enemy to have surprise awareness method [or equivalents] in every combo they use.
