Why focus on brawl? Wouldn't Melee make much more sense, what with the obvious focus on swords, as well as the theme of the charms? You've got things like a parry (melee, not brawl, if you plan to parry lethal, which you do, as you're parrying death), as well as a ''metal'' storm, andd even a ''blade'' of the battle maiden. Even the live-severing blow must be severing with ''something''. I mean, it's been a long time since I've seen a rope severed with a hand. With a sword, sure, but with a hand or foot? -- GreenLantern, ''on why VBoS should be melee-based''

:I considered Melee as well, and bounced back and forth a bit, but a few of the charms specifically state that they can be mixed with Brawl (1E) Charms, so Brawl seemed ultimately more appropriate. Hrm. Idea! --[[Ialdabaoth]]

I considered Melee as well, and bounced back and forth a bit, but a few of the charms specifically state that they can be mixed with Brawl (1E) Charms, so Brawl seemed ultimately more appropriate. Hrm. Idea! --Ialdabaoth
