The Exalted takes on the silent and alien grace of a scuttling spider – low to the ground, and dangerous to strike. The the rest of the scene the Exalted's attackers suffer a dice penalty equal to her Essence on their attack rolls against her, due to the evasive nature of the spider. The Exalted also gains some of the spider's chitinous resistance; for the rest of the scene she adds her Martial Arts score to her bashing soak, and half her Martial Arts score to her lethal soak. Character cannot use more than one Martial Arts Form-type Charm at a time. Using a new Form charm immediately ends the effects of the old one. This charm is incompatable with armor.

Jumping Spider Escape

Cost: 3 + 1 per die
Duration: Instart
Type: Reflexive
Min. Martial Arts: 4
Min. Essence: 2
Prereqs: Spider Form

When a spider is aware of an attack, she is very difficult to hit, as she can leap great distances at a time. With this charm, the Exalted can both dodge any attack she is aware of -- with the opportunity to improve her Dodge ability at the rate of 1 mote per die, to a maximum of her Dexterity + Martial Arts pool – and jump out of harm's way, at a distance equal to (her Essence x3) yards.

Numbing Poison Strike

Cost: 3 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Min. Martial Arts: 4
Min. Essence: 3
Prereqs: Spider Form

The Exalted focuses poisonous green Essence either to the tip of one of his twin daggers or two of his fingertips. She then makes a Martial Arts attack on an opponent targetting his limbs, either an arm or a leg. If she opts to poison that leg, the leg is overcome with freezing numbness, and the victim suffers a dice penalty to his initiative and kick manuevers equal to the user's Essence, for a number of turns equal to the user's Martial Arts ability. If the arm is poisoned, the penalty and duration apply to all attacks and parries – unless the poisoned character can come up with a stunt that allows him to parry or attack with something other than his arms.

Venom-Essence Sting

Cost: 8 motes, 1 health level
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Min. Martial Arts: 4
Min. Essence: 4
Prereqs: Numbing Poison Strike

Like a black widow poisoning the blood, the Exalted can poison the very Essence of an opponent, defiling it and turning it into a venom for the soul. The Exalted makes a normal Martial Arts attack, but for every level of pre-soak damage she inflicts, she poisons a mote of the victim's Essence pool. Every time venomous mote of Essence is spent, it does a level of aggravated damage to the spender.
