Peregrine Falcon Style

This Style may not be practiced in armor or with weapons.

Exsanguinating Strike

The martial artist's vicious strike, enhanced with talons of Essence, tears open a wound that resists an Exalt's natural resilience. This charm is an unarmed Martial Arts attack that inflicts lethal damage. If the attack inflicts levels of lethal damage, roll the caster's (Strength+Martial Arts) against a pool of the target's (Stamina+Resistance). Extra successes are added to the difficulty to staunch the wound.

Ant-Snatching Atemi

Prerequisites: Exsanguinating Strike

Like the peregrine falcon, the character's eyes can see a path past whatever defenses of crude matter his target hopes will shield them from his wrath. This attack supplements a Martial Arts attack. The target gains no bonuses to DV from mundane defenses.

Hungry Hawk Initiative

Prerequisites: None

The character may spend 1m to add a die to his Join Battle pool, up to a maximum of his Martial Arts score in bonus dice. This effect does not count as a Charm use.

Peregrine Falcon Form
Cost: 6m, 1wp
Type: Simple
Keywords: Form-type
Duration: One scene
Minima: MA 4, Essence 2
Prerequisites: Ant-Snatching Atemi, Hungry Hawk Initiative

For the rest of the scene, all of the character's unarmed attacks inflict lethal damage and are piercing, and his movement pools increase by his permanent Essence score.

Hawk Escapes Harriers
Cost: 3m
Type: Reflexive

Prerequisites: Peregrine Falcon Form

Whenever the character defends against a coordinated attack or multiple attacks during one of his actions, he may activate this Charm to effortlessly propel himself up to (Dexterity+Martial Arts) meters away.

Half-Seen Raider Meditation
Cost: 3m, 1wp

Prerequisites: Hawk Escapes Harriers

The martial artist reduces the Speed of an attack by 2. This action allows the Speed of an action to be reduced below 3, but no lower than 1.

Prey Learns Its Place
Cost: 4m
Type: Reflexive

Prerequisites: Peregrine Falcon Form

This Charm may be activated in response to an unexpected clinch attack. The character instantly gains control of the clinch, and gains a number of automatic successes equal to half his Martial Arts score on all future rolls to control the clinch.

For the duration of this Charm, all of the character's attacks cause knockdown or knockback against all targets up to tyrant lizard size.
