Circle information (reasonably trustful):

  • Four Sidereals (Red Stone Rising, Battleworn Nail, Blossom of Cerulian Fluttering and Stalwart Sky) are missing, one dead (Sorrowful North)
  • They (all of them? have we checked?) arrived on Skullstone via the Calibration Gate
  • Sorrowful North was conducting an Internal Affairs investigation into the Convention of Water and found evidence of corruption (Stalwart Sky) and worse (what exactly?), which he was going to turn over turn over to Censor Xue Fan
  • According to Xue Fan he claimed that "a very high ranking sidereal had.... betrayed [the Sidereal] order and doomed creation." (Red Stone Rising isn't 'high ranking' so probably someone else)
  • Sorrowful North was killed by a cloaked figure, whom he addressed as 'Brother', with a Starmetal blade
  • Said figure was obscured from SN's memories and his name was overridden by static (makes his having turned Dark Sidereal with full name-selling and Outside-of-Fate stuff quite likely)
  • It maintained, that it was still a servant of the Maidens and desired to rectify the deterioration of Creation by way of 'drastic actions' (a 'join me' speech for SN or honest, if misguided opinions?)
  • The Third Realm Fleet at Coral was supposed to have disappeared before reaching land.
  • The intention behind its presence was to show Coral, who's Boss (Coral has been making Realm tributaries pay taxes to *them* instead of the Realm)
  • Each ship probably has one Dragonblood at the least.
  • Destroying the fleet might drive House Peleps into an alliance with Mnemon and would definitely have a big impact on House politics.

Information from Weeping Glass (very questionable trustworthiness):

  • Abyssal souls fall into Oblivion upon death
  • The Silver Prince could reach WG even in the Far East, under Solar protection
  • She claims, Lytek would 'shut her up' about something for political reasons - hint go towards a collaboration with the Silver Prince to break open the Jade Prison and a 'connection in heaven' SN turned up
  • Red Stone Rising was granted sanctuary by the Silver Prince in return for 'his assistance and certain information'
  • Battleworn Nail, Blossom of Cerulian Fluttering and Stalwart Sky came to Skullstone to rescue or assassinate Red Stone Rising. The Deathlord's forces denied them in force, the Sidereals resisted. (Imprisonment, a forced alliance/conversion, unrelated absense? Or fabrication on WG's part?)
  • Sorrowful North did NOT come along to Skullstone, because he didn't trust his fellows
  • The victory of the Neverborn is 'mathematically inevitable by this point' (propaganda or reference to some devilish plan?)

ADamiani: So, the players seem to have figured out who the traitor was, but come up with a larger conspiracy; however, they still do not know the disposition of the other memebers of the Convention of the West. And what was that about the inevitabilty of the Deathlords' victory?
