Well i guess someone should put some stuff in here so....

The voice of the Endless Sands

It is said that once in the distant past the deserts of the south possessed a voice. A living avatar who spoke in the name of the greatest spirits of sand and fire. He was their hand within creation, their tool used to shape the world of man to their whim. Half man, half god outside of the strict hierarchy of heaven and exempt from the divine laws that prevented the spirits from interfering with creation freely. Since before the foundaton of the Empress's Realm this strange figure has moved across the southern sands. It was by his hand that the city state of Sharazad fell its lush fields and farmlands returning to the desert sands. It was through his intervention that the oasis of Last redoubt ran dry all but ending the guild gem expeditions in the deep desert. All this and a thousand other acts he carried out in his long life. The blood of thousands stained his hands, yet bound as he was to his creators will he could not stop. It was some two hundred years ago that all that changed. In those days the prophet Ikerre walked the south with an army of fanatics at her back. She carried with her the ancient eye of Autochthon and bent its awesome power to her will changing the very fabric of creation. Such power drew the envious attention of many beings not least of them the spirits of the southern desert. So it came to pass that as the cult of Autochthon traveled across the plains they found themselves confronted by a lone figure garbed in dusty desert robes standing in their path. It is said that a the prophet strode out to face him alone as her guard watched on. What passed between them is unknown by any mortal or god, what is known is that after that day The Voice of the Endless Sands served the prophet Ikerre untill the end.
