Solar Charms

Melee

Unsurpassed Attack Method
   Cost: 3 motes per success
   Duration: Instant
   Type: Supplemental
   Minimum Melee: 5
   Minimum Essence: 4
The character swings her weapon, allowing the perfection of the Unconquered Sun to guide her attack. To use this Charm, the character first makes a regular Melee attack roll. Then, the character may "buy" additional successes, up to the character's Essence rating + the number of successes rolled on the attack. Each success bought in this fashion costs 3 motes of Essence.

Dodge

Night's Embrace
   Cost: 4 motes, 1 Willpower
   Duration: Instant
   Type: Reflexive
   Minimum Dodge: 5
   Minimum Essence: 2
From Shadows to the emptiness of Night itself, the character need no longer be quick or nimble to dodge an attack; she is simply not there to be attacked in the first place. If the character is attacked, even by an attack she is not aware of, the character may use this Charm to evade the attack without the need for a roll (as per Seven Shadow Evasion), even if the attack has an area effect or is not normally dodgeable. This is a perfect defense.
