Character Creation

This is a very mixed game. Any possible type of Exalted character allowed.

Preferarbly Celestials, but not nessessarily, especially now that the Celestial part of the group is bordering completion.

Just... be flashy. A young prince with odd features and a legendary sword is one of the most normal there. A mystical assassin with wings black as midnight, a Solar singer whose faerie blood lets him become a monstruosity, a rogue airship pilot that kills people with golden kanji... try to stray from normality and into the realm of style.

Characters are created with their base Bonus Points + 105.

More _might_ be handled to complete a concept, but more in breadth and style than simply power. The General power level involves somewhat low dice pools, few perfects, and as of yet no persistants, although a few might have it, have in mind they are not nessessary. No Solar Circle Sorcery or Sidereal Martial Arts... yet, at least. Sidereal MA might be approved on a case-by-case, charm-by-charm basis.

It might seem odd that so many Bonus Points are used to so little power, but mostly it is for diversifycation and stylish choices, such as the former ghost-blooded general that took so many Arcanoi, and the like. It is not hard to do. Just take what you feel like... the only guidelines is that one has a natural pool in the relevant activites of no less than 13 and no more than 18 ( To completely humble most, but to not do so with the Exalted without the use of charms ).

God-Blooded

On the eventuality of a fully God-Blooded Player or an important NPC, God-Bloods may be ‘legendary’, receiving the following package. It intends to make God-Blooded allies more powerful, as well as making way for the possibility of using one as PC, if said PC realises that his char must wield great artifacts and power to be able to survive even in a low-tier Celestial game. But the like of a Demon-Blood with Principle of Motion, 5-Dragon and wielding his father as a level 5 artifact sword is... interesting!

  • They receive, for free, Prodigy x 4, God-Body( Maxed), Awakened Essence,- Magical Attunement, Longevity, Essence 2, Blurred Fate [Demon, Ghost, Abyssal Half-Caste and Fae Blood Only]

And receive 5 charms at character creation
. It doesn’t change that they won’t be equal for Exalted attributes and superior powers, but it makes possible for such chars to mingle better with the PCs as aides.

Fae-Blooded

  • Transcendent Dream Shape and Goblin Body now works as charms.

They may not be bought more times than the Fae-Blood's Essence.

Their activations costs are : Transcendent Dream Shape costs 1 Willpower +(5 + level) and Goblin Body costs (6 + level) motes.

Transcendent Dream Shape gives 5 attribute points in the first level, and 3 attribute points every level afterwards.
Goblin Body gives 5 mutation points on the first purchase, plus 2 new ones on every new level.
  • All other merit-charms are negated, and replaced by their Fair Folk equivalents.
  • Any Legendary Fae-Blood is assumed to have his parent’s Graces naturally, score equal to their virtue, but has to pay for any and all others.

Dragon-Blooded

Dynasts are well-educated in charms, and get 12 charms.

Outcastes are not, and get only 8 charms to distribute.

Immaculates retain either 8 or 12 charms, but only half of their background points. Half of those must be from their Celestial-Level Martial Art.

Lunars

Lunars use the Sidereal costs for normal charms, that being 9 or 11 experience points.

As noted on the Player’s Guide, one can surpass the knowledge of Deadly Beast Transformation without internalizing its lessons, thus retaining the power of perfected shapeshifting, buying the charm but not actually having it. They can buy Deadly Beast gifts as though they were charms, and activate them as normal with Calling Luna’s Favor and Blossoming Gift of Luna.

They can never get more gifts than you could if you had DBT – that being, 2 for the first dot of essence, and one for every dot afterwards. If buying DBT later on, the character pays full cost, and must have enough exp to get all the levels he should have according to his gifts.

Contrary to what is stated in the Player's Guide, Lunars may combo their natural charms with Martial Arts as per the normal comboing rules.

Due to their instinctive mastery of their charms, Lunars begin play with 13 charms. Casteless, less in touch with their instincts, receive only 9 of them.

They may raise their Caste Attributes by paying only current rating x 3.
