Forest Harmony
Cost: 1 mote per 2 dice, + 1 mote per ally
Duration: One Scene
Type: Simple
Minimum Performance: 4
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Memorable Performance Technique

A talented soloist is nothing if his supporting troupe cannot similarly impress their audience. The Terrestrial using this Charm synchronizes the performances of his fellow artists- whether jugglers or musicians, actors or poets, lending the subtle power of harmony and strength that grows from Wood to them. For every one mote spent, the Dragon-Blooded may add 2 dice to his allies' Attribute + Performance rolls until the end of the scene, up to a maximum bonus of his Performance. He also may not more than double his allies' base Performance scores. Any excess dice are lost. The Exalt may aid a number of allies equal to his Essence, at a cost of one mote each.

Willow Bends, Reeds Flutter
Cost: 2 motes per fang
Duration: Instant
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Performance: 4
Minimum Essence: 2
Prerequisite Charms: Memorable Performance Technique

The ability to adapt one's troops swiftly and decisively in battle can be the difference between triumph and defeat in warfare. A Dragon-blooded with this Charm can swiftly and effortlessly re-order her soldiers to face the changing conditions of battle. Using this Charm allows the Dragon-blooded to change the Order of a unit under her command without making a roll.

This charm has two other potential uses; it can be used to give order temporarily to a unit that would otherwise be Unordered (this will last one long combat round/3 combat sequences) and it can be used to merge willing units without a roll. An individual Dragon-blooded cannot use this Charm on more fangs than her permanent Essence + 2, but this Charm is synergistic.

Shaded Glade Aria
Cost: 6 motes
Duration: One Day
Type: Simple
Minimum Performance: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Enchanting Performance

The Terrestrial evokes-- by song, melody, story, dance, etc.-- a sense of contentment and peace in all who perceive his performance. The performance will be suffused with the gentle, nurturing Essence of Wood, bringing health and renewal to the Dynast's audience. If the character spends at least a scene performing, his audience will have their healing and recovery rates multiplied by the Exalt's Performance. This will also double the effective sleep any audience members receive. If any of the audience members are troubled by mundane afflictions that prevent healing or rest, this performance will give them one day free from such an affliction. It has no effect on magical sources of unhealing or disquiet.

Venomous Melody
Cost: 4 motes, 1 Willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Performance: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: Enchanting Performance

In a burst of hateful performance-- typically song or dance, although talented and swift storytellers and speechmakers may hurl curses at their foes-- the character induces toxic wood Essence into the body of one character within the Dynast's Essence x 5 yards. Roll the character's Manipulation + Performance against a difficulty equal to the target's Wits. If the Dynast is successful, she has poisoned her target, who must now make a Stamina + Resistance roll against a difficulty of 3 to resist.

This poison will cause a number of lethal or bashing health levels (player's choice, must be made before the resistance roll) equal to the character's Performance plus the extra successes on the Manipulation + Performance on a failure, and will inflict a dice pool penalty equal to the Terrestrial's Essence for a period of one hour due to the hallucinations caused by the poison. If the target succeeds in the Stamina + Resistance roll, he will still take a number of health levels of damage equal to one third the failure damage, round down, minimum 1. The Venomous Melody poison counts as a single poison for the purposes of immunities or special resistances, and other than its method of delivery, counts as a purely natural poison for the purposes of cures, Charms, and so on.

Faces in the Garden Method
Cost: 2 motes
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Performance: 1
Minimum Essence: 1
Prerequisite Charms: None

An easy, but often very useful "trick" learned swiftly by young dragon-blooded and retained by the mature, Faces in the Garden Method allows the character to use virtually any plant material that could leave a trace on skin as make-up. The juice from succulent leaves and fruits, the pressings from berries, all become the equivalent of a master disguise artist's set of make up for the purposes of a single disguise. This has no effect on the basic chemical properties of the material-- other than to remove taste and scent-- so using poison ivy and other toxic plants is not recommended. This grants no bonus to disguise, but permits the use of virtually any plant material at hand, which will remove penalties for a lack of make-up

Dedicated Artist Technique
Cost: 3 motes per success
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Performance: 3
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisite Charms: 3 Performance Charms

While ultimately, any show will depend on some mixture of virtually all types of performance, it is rare for an artist to rely on generalized skills. The singer, the dancer, the storyteller-- all may know and utilize the other's skills, but it is the magnificence of their chosen path that truly impresses an audience. The Dragon-Blooded may convert Specialty dice to automatic successes on any relevant roll at a cost of 3 motes per automatic success. The remainder of the pool is then rolled as normal

Violent Beauty Expression
Cost: 2 motes per success
Duration: Instant
Type: Supplemental
Minimum Performance: 4
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisite Charms: Dedicated Artist Technique

There is a beauty and wonder to be derived from all-consuming passion. Just as the tree gives of its own life to sprout forth fruit and flower, so too can the Dragon-Blooded using this charm tap his own life force in order to produce a magnificent performance. Driving himself beyond the limits of his endurance, the Dynast achieves an incredible level of expression-- at a cost to his own health.

This focus permits the Terrestrial to convert Performance dice into automatic successes, up to the usual maximum of his Performance ability. The remainder of the pool is then rolled as normal. Once the roll has been made, the player must then soak, using only the character's Stamina, a number of bashing health levels equal to the total successes on the roll, as the Exalt literally sacrifices his own life-force to produce a wondrous performance. Common side effects from this charm include sprained muscles, numb or aching joints, and terrible soreness over the whole body. In addition to the damage, each use of this Charm counts as a full day's exertion for the Terrestrial, who must then deal with the resulting effects of sleep deprivation, by rest, charm, item, or suffering the penalties. The damage dealt may be healed as normal.

Graceful Wood Dragon Attunement
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Performance: 5
Minimum Essence: 5
Prerequisite Charms: 10 Performance Charms, including at least 1 each from Essence 1-5

This is the Facet Attunement Charm (see DragonBloodedInvestigation/IsawaBrian under Insightful Water Dragon Attunement for details) for Performance. Taking this Charm Attunes the character to the Graceful Facet of the Wood Dragon, and thus negates the one mote surcharge for non-Wood Blooded Terrestrials using Performance Charms. The Graceful Facet of the Wood Dragon represents the deftness and sinuous beauty of the Wood Dragon; the hypnotic dancing of its coils and the overwhelming purity of its voice. This Charm may not be taken by Wood Blooded Terrestrials, Eclipse Caste Solars, or Moonshadow Caste Abyssals. Its use counts against the number of attunements active on a character, which may cause the Dragon-Blooded's anima and aspect markings to alter (See Insightful Water Dragon Attunement for details).
