The Great Maker first created the Gods. He then created The Mountain Folk. The other Primordials grew Jealous, and tried to mimic his creations. Their results would have been complete failures, had it not been for Autocthon's kind heart. Unbeknownst to all, he shaped two protectors out of the dust, to guard the first creations of his brothers.

These invisible protectors rose to not only protect the first of the mortals, but Creation instead. As their responsibilities grew, their power rose with it. They fashioned healers to deal with damage caused by creatures of darkness. They fashioned instructors and commanders to train and command the protectors. They fashioned hunters to hunt those opposed to creation. They Fashioned The Librarians to inform and incite them. These fashioned servants were bestowed with superhuman power and proclaimed The Chosen of th Archangels.
