<b>History</b>
Kateh comes from a minor little village a few hundred miles east of Great Forks. Simple fisher folk she ran away on a barge and was taken in by the ships thaumaturge. In him she found the teacher she had always wanted and in her he found the surrogate child he had lost due to disease. When she exalted at the age of 17 her life took a new turn again. She worked out of Nexus for a bit before taken by an impulse of adventure and wanderlust she bought a treasure map from a mysterious cloaked figure. Following it she vanished into the jungles of the southeast. Amazingly she survived and seemed to find that treasure though she doesn't speak of it. Now she is found moving through the Scavanger Lands seeking out more books of essence knowledge and accompanied by elementals who take the form of dragons. Some whisper she is the Empress returned in a new form. It is true she has this raport with them and its also true she exalted about when the Empress disappeared. Still for now she just travels, a bit of a legend growing around her.
