History

Karal Mitsuya is the daughter of the famed Lookshy officer Karal Niyomi, a Fire-Aspected dragon warrior of very notable prestige and capability. In all of Niyomi's career, she married many a times, but in the end, bore no children who would Exalt save Mitsuya. As such, much of the girl's family hoped for her to follow in her mother's footsteps on the battlefield and in the ranks of the Seventh Legion.

Niyomi died shortly after Karal's sixteenth birthday, the girl only having been Exalted for two years at the time. Mitsuya had grown close to her mother and the death of her main rolemodel on the battlefield left the girl depressed and reclusive. She became engrossed in ehr training and did her best to learn how to maintain and operate her mother's dragon armor. At the age of nineteen, MItsuya went on her first mission to investigate a report of strange activity in the Sotuheast. Her family was excited to see her follow her mother in a career of grand battles and impressive scouting misison enceveours.

However, when the dragon warrior unit arrived in the small nation in the grasslands of the Southeast, things soon showed to be more then what was expected. When orignally it was reports of minor incursions of mosnters from the local shadowland, it turned out to be a full-out invasion from the land of the dead. The unit tried battling the undead hrode that had settled into the city, and allw as going rather well for the dragon warriors, until the deathknights came.

The battle that came soon got bloody fast. Two deathknights and their reinforcements soon wrecked havoc upon the Dragon-Blooded of the Seventh. As she watched her fellow soldiers being mowed down by the Anathema, she lost her nerve, be it from the magics of the Forsaken, or the true terror in her breast. Either way, she fled at full pace in her armor.

Through jungle, rough terrain, and hostiles, she spent the enxt few weeks moving unhesitatingly towards th nearest redoubt. When she arrived, she relayed the situation, and collapsed due to exhaustion. Her armor barely survived the abuse it took, but due to the local shugan-janai, was repaired with some effort.

Mitsuya herself was put on sabatical for the next year, as the investigation in the event showed her the only survivor. After close examination, it was decided that she was not somehow responsible for the events of the calamity. However, Mitsuya proved to be mentally unstable due to the events in the field, and so was moved to a unit which would require less involvement in extremely dangerous supernatural activity.

Now Karal Mitsuya seves in the Fourth Field Force's Insurrection and Reformation Unit. This unit specializes in military incursions in nations who the Seventh Legion has deamed irresponsible, dangerous, or who's populous has managed to front a better pay. This general involves the actual cue used to dismantle the government, while afterwords, the officers often stay to train troops. Mitsuya serves as the first main assault, and also helps int he persuit of tracking rogue members of former governments and regimes.

However, this job has not always proven the most helpful for Mitsuya's condition. On one occassion so far, she has been involved in a cue of a government which proved to have Solar Anathema in it. She nearly fell in battle to the apprenant Deciever had it not been for the last-minute rescue for the famed Heritic Master Shao Yin. Mitsuya now finds herself worried that the next mission might find another, more powerful sort of Anathema, such asa a Lunar Anathema or Forsaken. And she also finds herself not as able to concentrate on work sometimes, finding herself thinking of the Realm-born Ivory Dragon, and his exotic fighting style...

Appearance and Personality

Mitsuya stands about five and a half feet tall, not much in the way of height compared to other natives of Lookshy. Her features are those one would expect from one of Eastern descent, straight hair, tanned skin, and so on. She is rather slight in her build, not baring much of a waist or a bust, but one who sees her in less covering clothing soon see that she has a healthy, athletic tone to her body. In her opinion, a smaller chest just means she doesn't have to have to worry about armor as often.

Mitsuya keeps her straight black hair cut short, save for a single bang which hangs over her right temple down to her chin. Her facial expression is rather soft and winsome look to her look, be she happy, sad, or sturn. Her amber-colored eyes seem to be the sorce of this much of the time, as the depression that occassionally strikes her down shows itself through her facade of professionalism.

Mitsuya has two main suits of armor. The first is her reinforced buff jacket, which is her main outfit when not on the field. It is issued by the Legion, and so acts as a general show of her rank, and position more then anything. The other is her Most Fearsome Armor of the Fire Dragon. The red jade armor bares a rathr bright orange hue to most of it, as it tries to refract and reflect all light that strikes it. This armor often hides her female form even more then she usually seems, and she is often embarrassed when she is mistaken for a male officer by new troops.

Before, and after battle, she often wears just the simple fabric straps and metal rings to hold them together which she wears beneath the armor. She also has been known to wear it in transit to the next military endeverour, deciding that it will help assure her sex to any new troops, as well as her belief that changing would most likely slow things down anyways if an emergency happens en route.

In either outfit, Mitsuya often has a ranging dragonfly's eye over her left eye. Even when not wearing the clear blue eyepiece, she often wears the tiara-like mount, finding it a nifty bit of decoration, and a small source of vanity she doesn't usually indulge in. In times when she is neither at war or business, she wears a kimono imprinted with various patterns involving red, orange, and golden flames and butterflies.
