At some point it came out that [[TipperGore]] was on Prozac.  Apparently, the news media made a big deal out of this revelation.  Soon after, an issue of [http://www.theonion.com/ The Onion] had one of those What Do You Think sections, asking "How do you feel about the news that Tipper Gore is on anti-depressants?"
To which one of the responses was, "Well, now I know where the phrase '[[bat-shit insane as the Vice-President's wife]] comes from."

A [[meme]] was born.
Try to work it into everyday usage.  There's a special place in Heaven for those who do.
