This is a Celestial martial arts style created in the first age by the Twilight Martial Artist Emerald Dragon.

This style is thematically adaptable, its visual style being unique to the practitioner as many of its forms are based off of the users Anima Banner. Though the effects stay the same, they may appear different for different practitioners.

Another notable thing about the style are the Coil type charms. Any Coil charm may be activated in conjunction with any number of other Coil charms. This method of increasing the strength of the style was based off the innate ability of the Terrestrial Exalts to use any number of Reflexive charms in the same action. Activating the charms in conjunction is essentially a 'free' combo which may ignore some of the standard combo rules.

This style is incompatible with weapons or armor of any type.

Eye of the Dragon

Type: Permanent
Keywords: None

The Exalt uses meditation to improve his awareness of things around him.
From now on he adds his Martial Arts score in dice to any Wits+Awareness Roll made to join battle or detect ambushes. While in combat he also take no negatives to maintain his awareness of happenings outside of the combat zone. This bonus does not apply to any supernatural effect that may hinder awareness.

Speed of the Dragon

Cost: 3m; Mins: Martial Arts 2, Essence 2
Type: Reflexive
Keywords: Combo-Basic
Duration: Scene
Prerequisite Charms: Eye Of The Dragon

With awareness comes the ability to respond quicker, for the Dragon knows where his opponent strikes from.
Reduce the speed of all actions in combat by one tick.

Lithe Form of the Dragon

Cost: 2m; Mins: Martial Arts 2 Dodge 2, Essence 2
Type: Reflexive
Keywords: Combo-OK Obvious
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Eye Of The Dragon

The dragon does not counter; it flows, and so does the Dragon Adept.
This charm refreshes the users dodge pool and allows him to parry lethal without a stunt. This charm is a mirror of Shadow Over Water and counts as such for prerequisites.

Stance of the First Coil: Reach of the dragon

Cost: 4m; Mins: Martial Arts 4 Occult 1, Essence 3
Type: Simple (speed 4)
Keywords: Coil Obvious
Duration: Scene
Prerequisite Charms: Lithe Form Of The Dragon, Speed Of The Dragon

The grasp of the Dragon far exceeds his reach
The user hardens his anima, using it to grasp and maneuver, he may inflict and parry lethal without a stunt. Also, he may extend his anima out to Essence x2 yards, allowing him to manipulate objects out that far; he in effect has the Reach weapon tag.

The Dragon protects that which he loves; for that is his true strength.
When active in conjunction with Dragon Spirit Cloak he may give up the advantages of that charm and instead reflexively surround himself with his anima, shielding himself and anyone or anything within Essence x2 yards. The ones so protected may use their parry or his, whichever is greater and gain a natural bonus to lethal and bashing soak equal to twice the Adept's Essence. This effect remains even as the Adept takes other actions, as long as those protected remain within range.

Dragons Grasping Claw

Cost: 4m; Mins: Martial Arts 4, Essence 3<
Type: Simple (speed 4)<
Keywords: Combo-OK
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Stance Of The First Coil

The Dragon Adept reaches out, taking the tools of his foes. The user makes a single disarm attempt, reducing the difficulty of the attempt by 2(mitigating the normal penalty) and adding his Martial Arts score in dice to the attempt.

Dragon Tail Parry

Cost: 5m; Mins: Martial Arts 4, Essence 3
Type: Reflexive
Keywords: Counter Attack Knock-Back Obvious
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Stance Of The First Coil

Using his anima the Dragon Adept hardens it at the point of impact and thrusts it outwards, deflecting the attack.
Counter an attack by rolling Dexterity+Martial Arts at a difficulty of the success rolled on the attack against you. If this counter gets more successes than the original attack, the attack fails and the attacker must immediately check for knock-back with the difficulty as the number of successes on the Dexterity+Martial Arts counter-attack. In any case, this has the effect of stopping any flurry that was being attempted on the defender.

Dragons Wisdom Meditation

Cost: 6m 1w; Mins: Martial Arts 5 Occult 2, Essence 3
Type:Simple (speed 6 DV-4)
Keywords: None
Duration: Scene
Prerequisite Charms: Dragon Tail Parry, Dragons Grasping Claw

The Dragon Adept stops; his actions calm in the maelstrom of combat: he is a island of focus as he feels the patterns of power around him.
After the invocation of this charm the user rolls Temperance, regaining willpower in successes. At the onset of his next action he adds one success to all actions, including MDV and DV.(effectively making them one higher) This charm can only be used in areas where it is possible for the user to sense essence and never more than once per scene, or once per day.

Stance of the Second Coil: Three-Fold Dragon Form

Cost: 8m 1w; Mins: Martial Arts 5, Essence 4
Type: Simple (speed 4)
Keywords: Coil Form Obvious
Duration: Scene
Prerequisite Charms: Dragons Wisdom Meditation

Once the Dragon Adept focuses his attention all else is secondary. His stance becomes steady his eyes focused; his anima moves and flares with energy. His will is made manifest.
For the rest of the encounter (not scene) all Martial Arts dice succeed on a six or better. However, all non-Martial Arts actions require a nine or better for success. In addition, for the rest of the scene he is assumed, at his discretion, to have passed or failed all Valor checks.

Five Dragons As One

Cost: 5m +2m per person; Mins: Martial Arts 5, Essence 4
Type: Simple (speed 6 DV-2)
Keywords: Multiple Action Combo-Basic
Duration: Next action
Prerequisite Charms: Stance Of The Second Coil

The Dragon knows he is part of a whole; his actions effect the whole; an attack by one is an attack by all. By studying his opponent and knowing his comrades the Dragon Adept causes a cascade of events which invoke the whole.
After invoking this charm the user watches a chosen opponent, indicated by the speed of the charm (speed 6 DV-2). The user must be able to inspect his surroundings for a full six ticks, nothing can reduce this prerequisite. At the start of the users next action, any ally within essence x10 yards, including the invoker of this charm, that is able to make a valid attack against the chosen target may immediately do so; in effect taking the Coordinated Attack Action. Any normal attack may be made, but only Reflexive Charms may be used by anyone involved in the attack. Only a number of allies equal to invokers Essence +1 may take part in this attack.

Sundering Essence Wave

Cost: 3m 1w; Mins: Martial Arts 5, Essence 4
Type: Simple (speed 5)
Keywords: Holy, Obvious
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Stance Of The Second Coil

Distance can not defeat the Dragon; his holy wrath strikes down evil wherever it runs.
This charm is a ranged attack using (Martial Arts + Dexterity + Essence) as an attack pool and a range of Essence x20 yards. In all other ways it is identical to Blazing Solar Bolt

Strike the Soul

Cost: -; Mins: Martial Arts 5 Occult Specialty: Essence Awareness, Essence
Type: Permanent
Keywords: None
Duration: Permanent
Prerequisite Charms: Stance Of The Second Coil

The Dragon can see the flow essence in all things; one armed with this knowledge is formidable.
The exalt may now reflexively spend 2m to see the essence flows and patterns around him for a single scene. This has the effect of making all of his opponents active charms have the Obvious keyword.

This allows his to strike these essence flows in his opponents, thereby blocking them. this is a single attack made a +4 difficulty, Speed 5 DV-2, as the chakra points are very small. When struck, the point closes off the currant flow pattern, making the last charm used by the target unusable for a number of actions equal to the Dragon Adept's martial arts. Only one charm in the target at a time can be closed off like this. These attacks can only be made when the Dragon Adept's anima banner is at the 8-10 range

The Dragons energy can be overwhelming to the unprepared
If the possessor of this charm also has Dragon Spirit Cloak he may, as a simple action (speed 6 DV-2), spend 6m to render unconscious for a scene all non-Essence(IE: extras) enlightened beings within Essence x10 yards.

Stance of the Third Coil: Dragon Spirit Cloak

Cost: 15m 1w; Mins: Martial Arts , Essence 5;
Type: Simple (speed 4)
Keywords: Obvious Multiple Action
Duration: Scene
Prerequisite Charms: Sundering Essence Wave, Five Dragons As One

The Dragon is awakened. Standing resolute or dancing in the air; challenging the Dragon is not easy.
This is the ultimate ability of the dragon Adept. Upon activation of this charm the anima of the user immediately burns at the 16+ range, no matter what level it was before. At this point the anima is no longer guided by the focus of the Adept, it is an extension of his will, as much a part of his body as his hand. As such, this manifestation of the anima can be used to perform and aid in actions, granting a second physical action during every normal action. He takes no penalties to PDV and gains an extra attack action as his anima makes extra attacks and defends him.

Alternatively, the Adept may instead use the extra abilities grated by this charm as a perfect defense against every incoming attack. Only rendering the Adept unable to maneuver, perfect attacks, or the targeted by a coordinated attack overcomes this. While using his anima this way the Adept is limited to only a single attack per action.

Shifting between these two abilities is Reflexive action and costs 6m.
