Session 008

Background It is Realm Year 789 in This is the end battle in the Shadow Lands. The Empress herself has heard of the stakes of this battle from her spy network within the Solar Deliberative. She herself is sending a legion to aid them in their cause. So the Solars have 500 solid soldiers with maybe 60 of them being Exalted. While the Legion is 2000 strong with probably 160 dragon blooded and rest mortal.

Setting The shadow lands, it is dark, raining, and everyone is anxious.

Session The players are meet by the Solar forces moving north after receiving their message that they encounted the 8 plus their leader. In two days the moon will be high and it will be the 3000 year celestial realignment as when the book was first made. This is the first time the stars will be in alignment this way.

As they are all preparing for the final fight. The Solars on are high alert when they receive a message that from the south, there is a host of Dragon Blooded coming. And a lone rider is riding ahead of them with much haste. That guy is caring a white flag. The rider will tell them that the Empress of the Realm has sent her troops here to help in the survival of the realm. And more on their way in the coming days if needed.

In the end, the battle starts. The last words out of Zion’s mouth before the start of the battle is, “All good things .. ”

Battle of the Book Begins<b>

In the aftermath of the battle, a great flash of power comes and restores the Shadow Land back to life. Later in the day, the Unconquered Sun comes for the Spear of Longliness. The Realms forces make camp as does the Deliberative. As the partying goes on, their seems to be some small, isolated fighting. Then there is a huge scuffle between the leaders of each side after comments made by some smaller officers. Each of the Sides call a truce as they segregate themselves from each other and move out.

The PC’s will be asked to come back to Itamas to receive a heroes welcome. At Itamas, they learn that there was some disturbance in Lookshy. A great portion of Lookshy has actually been destroyed too. Most of the damage they learn is done in the district that is run by Howard. This has greatly distressed the Deliberative.

The players are asked to investigate under the authority of the Deliberative if they wouldn’t mind. If they do, they are given some time to themselves. Else, they are given an air ship [Narcatlos] that will take them to Lookshy. A man by the name of Belondil meets them at their landing.
