Some quick notes for using straight Wushu Open with the Exalted setting.
Essence: This is equivalent to standard Wushu's Chi, save only that you have both Permanent and Temporary Essence. Permanent Essence acts as a cap; you can never roll more dice at once than your Permanent Essence rating. Temporary Essence is spent as per standard Chi to avoid dying. Characters can also spend Temporary Essence on a one-to-one basis to gain automatic successes, or spend 1 Temporary Essence to activate their Anima.
(Thought: Anima activates automatically if more than 2 Essence are spent in a scene?)
Sorcery: Characters with a Sorcerous or Necromantic trait must have Essence 3 or higher.

Animas
As in standard Exalted, Exalts have Animas, powers defined by their Exaltation and Caste. In most cases, these powers are extremely showy.
Solar Animas
Dawn Caste: When a Dawn's anima is active, he is a paragon of terror in battle. He gains an additional automatic die on every combat roll against all opponents of lesser Essence and all Mooks, and ignores the first attack die from any Mook. These benefits only apply in combat.
Zenith Caste: The Zenith's anima is as the Dawn's, but only applies against Creatures of Darkness; notable examples are the Undead, the Fair Folk, and Demons. Exalts do not qualify, even Abyssal or Infernal Exalts. The Zenith may also cremate any corpse (save those that are affected by certain dark magics) and send the soul straight on to its next life; this power does not require Essence expenditure or that the anima be active.
Twilight Caste: The Twilight may expend their anima to ignore a number of attack dice equal to their Permanent Essence.
