Intimacy: For 1 pt, the character gains +1 MDV when using an Intimacy to defend.
Greater Intimacy: For 3 pts, the character gains +2 MDV when using an Intimacy to defend.
Virtue: For 1 pt, the character gains +1 MDV when using a Virtue to defend.
Serenity: For 1 pt, the character treats her Appearance as one point higher, only if it is lower than the target's.
Beauty: For 1 pt, the character treats her Appearance as one point higher, only if it is higher than the target's.
Combination: For 1 pt, the character may combine multiple Intimacies and Virtues for defense, up to a normal maximum of +3.
Greater Combination: For 3 pts, the character may combine multiple Intimacies, Virtues, and Motivation, up to a maximum of +4.
Duration: For 1 pt, the effect applies Until Next Action. For 2 pts, it covers Five Actions, and for 3 pts, it has a duration of One Scene.
Wall: If the social attack still succeeds, the character must spend 1 additional Willpower to resist it. This adds two points.
Performance
Emotion: For each 1 pt, the character gains +1 die when trying to instill a particular emotion.

Tough: For each 1 pt, the character adds +1B soak against an attack. 2 pts adds +1B/+1L soak. Max +3B/+3L.
Duration: For 1 pt, the effect applies Until Next Action. For 2 pts, it covers Five Actions, and for 3 pts, it has a duration of One Scene.
Special Duration: If resisting disease or poison, 3 pts allows the resistance to apply for the duration of the disease or poison.
Focus: If the character must meditate for a full scene to gain the effect, it adds 1 pt.
Survival
Terrain: For each 1 pt, your Survival roll in a specific terrain type adds +1 die.
Effective: For each 1 pt, you may reduce external penalties due to harsh conditions by 1 pt. (Max reduction 3 pts).
Helpful: For each 2 pts, your Survival roll may cover an additional person. (Max +3 people)
Duration: For 1 pt, the effect applies Until Next Action. For 2 pts, it covers Five Actions, and for 3 pts, it has a duration of One Scene.
