Most of the major NPCs in Greyfalls are listed in the +news files of the MUSH. Some of the “minor” major NPCs in Greyfalls are listed below.

Gavin Bast, Guild Hierarch: One of the elected heads of the Guild, Gavin Bast is a respected merchant and craftsman. After talks with the Satrap of Greyfalls, Bast came to Greyfalls as a representative of the Guild and set up a semi-permanent residence in the city a few years back. Originally from Lookshy, Bast is the only Dragon-Blood on the Guild’s board of directors and is, accordingly, feared and respected. In his youth, he served as a ranger for Lookshy and gained prominence in the Guild as a master armorer. Bast is known to be one of the few Dragon-Blooded capable of working capably with Artifact 3 items, almost all of which have been suits of armor.

Ito Tsugaru, the Ten-Man Swordsman: The legend of Ito Tsugaru has spread throughout the Threshold and beyond in the last twenty years, making its way even to the Blessed Isle and such distant cities as the Lap and Gem. Most of what is known of Tsugaru has a quality of the mythic about it; Tsugaru is supposedly the best mortal swordsman living and has, to his credit, three ‘confirmed’ Dragon-Blooded kills—all three of them outcastes. He is also known to have killed ten men by himself without himself receiving a wound, earning him the sobriquet of ‘Ten-Man Swordsman’. Tsugaru carries a slashing sword made for him by Gavin Bast of surpassing puissance; the sword, Eastern Crimson Rain, is purported to be made of Chiaroscuran glass, the only weapon made of that material since the fall of the First Age. He’s currently in the employ of the Guild as Gavin Bast’s personal body-guard, although what an elder Dragon-Blood like Bast would need a mortal body-guard for is anyone’s guess.

Additionally, all of the Houses with mansions in Greyfalls have a mortal majordomo of at least 75 XP running the household.
