Natural Student Technique</b>

The natural student learns well from the master. The character halves training time for one Attribute, Ability, or Charm, provided that he has a teacher. The Essence remains committed for the duration of the instruction.
Learn From Your Mistakes Method</b>

Accidents occur, but true students understand that they must learn from them, instead of becoming discouraged. The character may activate this Charm whenever an action fails. For the duration of the scene, the character gains +1 die on all die pools using that Attribute and Ability. This Charm may be comboed despite its non-Instant duration.
Instant Recovery Method</b>

When you are alert for errors, you can recover from them with grace and poise. This Charm may be activated whenever a character botches an action. The action is instead a failure.
There Is No Luck Technique</b>

With understanding of skill comes understanding that luck is what you make of it, not a force that drives the character. The character may activate this Charm at any time. For the duration of the scene, the character scores average success on all actions that they attempt - half of their die pool in successes, rounding down. Damage rolls score 2 successes per five dice (round one-two dice down, three-four dice up). This Charm functions this way even if effects such as astrology are affecting a character's target numbers; die bonuses or penalties are applied normally.
Skill Is Eternal Technique</b>

A master of skill learns that there is nothing that can impede their talent. The character may activate this Charm either in advance, or as a response to an attempt to reduce her die pools, her Attributes, or her Abilities. For the duration of the scene, the character's die pools are unaffected by any effects that specifically reduce them - reductions due to difficult conditions or multiple action penalties still apply, but the character takes no wound penalties, nor does she take penalties from poison or Charms that specifically reduce die pools, Attributes, or Abilities.
Essence of Heroism Understanding</b>

A true hero finds that they can recover Essence faster and better than otherwise would be the case. When this Charm is purchased, it permanently enhances a character's capabilities. Increase the amount of Essence that the character recovers through successful stunts by 1. This Charm may be purchased once for every two points of Essence that the character has (round up).
Will Of The Warrior Understanding</b>

Success breeds further success. When this Charm is purchased, it permanently enhances a character's capabilities. If a character chooses to recover Willpower on a stunt, they also recover motes of Essence as though it were a stunt one die lower. This stacks fully with Essence of Heroism Understanding.
The Martial Arts
Heroic Exalts may learn Martial Arts Charms, provided they undergo proper training. In order to favour Martial Arts, characters must favour both the Ability and the Mentor Background.
Heroic Exalts may learn both Terrestrial and Celestial-level Martial Arts, as normal for a Celestial Exalt. They do not change the prerequisites from Martial Arts to Mentor. No Martial Arts effect may allow a Heroic Exalt to apply more than their Mentor + Essence in bonus dice to an action.
The Heroic Exalted may never learn Sidereal Martial Arts. Never mind what the Sidereals think. It won't work.
