Description
Eron is a tall man. Dark hair hanging lightly to his shoulders and sky blue eyes watch out from a tanned face. Exaltation hasn't made him the bronzed demigod some Solars become but he may in time. At seven feet his size gives him presences and reach and he knows how to move with his size. He dresses in the simple greens and browns, nothing fancy, just solid wayfarers clothing. He carries a sword with him, the first he ever owned. A simple weapon he never plans to give the weapon up. It is a trusted friend and ally.
He is a friendly enough with people and likes women though he hasn't found anyone that holds his heart. He does love to fight though and the only challange he will turn down is one he thinks isn't up to his abilities. Still normally any fight is good enough. He doesn't need it to be some epic fight with him against the Red Mantis for him to enjoy a fight.
History
Eron is a man tempered by hard work outdoors. An orphan, he was adopted by a Guild merchant prince. He spent his time on the roads of the east. It was that those early years that imprinted themself on him most strongly. He can remember the mercenaries and gaurds hired by his father and would often pester them to train him in how to fight. So between his duties helping out the caravan he would pick up how to fight. Unarmed and with weapons.
When he was old enough he struck out on his own. He was never going to be a merchant. Counting jade, all that sorta stuff just bored him. He didn't get the thrill that his father did from haggling no matter how much he said it was just a different kind of battlefield. He liked fighting. So at 17 he went his own way. He joined a group called the Grey Wolves, and for a few years worked as a soldier earning his keep and some scars on the talent of his blade.
He and the Grey Wolves were working for this princeling out of a place in the Hundred Kingdoms called the Dominion of Harn. The prince had gotten himself some piece of technology from the First Age. Something like the Dragon Armor the elite of Lookshy would wear. Whatever it was he was a nigh unstoppable terror on the battlefield. Regular blades would leave barely a scratch and he could shatter bodies with a swing of his fist. A man with something like that gathers a calling to him and he wanted more as many do once they taste power.
Whatever the truth behind it his actions provoked a response. He was disturbing things that some would rather he did not. Eron and the Grey Wolves were hired on to work with him as he set his sights on some of the richer lands in the Hundred Kingdoms. They were rich for a reason though and hired their own mercenaries. The Blue Thunder, the Iron Titans, and the Fist of the Red Banner. Three rather well known groups. The Blue Thunder particularly famous. They were lead by a trio of Dragonblooded. The battle was joined on the Plains of Jin. Tragically the prince in the end was just a regular mortal with a powerful artifact and he was facing the Exalted. So while his fate was never in question the fate of the rest of his forces was.
The forces under his banner broke and scattered when he was bested and felled. The mercs had been paid well though to ensure that his army would not scatter to ravage neighbouring lands. Luck was on his side though or perhaps destiny. He made it to a river and the current took him away from the rest of his fellow Grey Wolves who were disorganized and soon fell. Surely something had plans for him because he did not drown and instead woke on the riverbank alone. He was in the Lakelands.
A man like him could go far in the Lakelands. He was in Kyrhan and it was nearly time for the current heir to have a tournament to choose her partner. Eron even had plans to join that tournament when he heard of it. Still some of the locals didn't like the idea of another outsider taking part in their tournament even if the rules permitted it. So he found himself facing off against a dozen men one night. He did not have the blood of the Dragons or Gods in his veins. This wasn't some story. These were a dozen men out to kill him who knew how to fight. Still fate has a way of making things work out. Or at least it would have. A passing group of the night watch had been warned by an innkeeper about the group planning to murder one of his customers and made their way down the alley to break the fight up they saw a burning golden light and the scattered forms of a dozen men. The destiny that had brought him here had suddenly been burned away as the power of the Unconquered Sun invigorated him with the strength of legions. Still, shock and surprise and he ran instead of facing off against the watch he could surely have taken.
So he ended up back in the river, lost and shocked with what he had become. Thats when he met the third group that lives in the Lakelands. Attracted by the golden light of his Anima some of the People of the Sea came to him and took him to safety. He did not spend too much time with them. He was no king no matter what they wanted him to be. Instead he came to an agreement of sorts. He told them he needed to see the world some still and master his powers. So he travels the east and whenever the moon is full he meets one of the people of the Sea to assure them he has not forgotten them and tell them where he is headed next.
When he is on his own though something else attracts his attention. He remembers the stories of his youth. Heroes always had their weapons. Weapons as iconic as their wielders. So he seeks out those things now. To gather to himself those ancient weapons he has heard about, the weapons Scavanger Lords risk their life for to sell and trade. He will wield them though. A thousand weapons, each a legend in its own right, all part of his. In the meantime...his talents even without using his full strength make him a valuable enough independant agent.
