A Steward on the hunt can infiltrate any pack or herd with superlative ease. Upon activating this charm, the Lunar rolls Manipulation+Socialize, adding a number of automatic successes equal to her Essence. Anyone with an MDV lower than this is subject to an Illusion believing the Lunar is owed any authority she claims. This is an unnatural mental influence costing 3wp to resist; however, the cost drops to 1wp if the Lunar is usurping authority held by the target, or usurping the authority of a highly public figure, such as a village chieftain or local ruler, unless she approximately matches the description of them.

Prerequisite Charms: Familiar Presence Demeanor
This charm enhances its' prerequisite; Familiar Presence Demeanor becomes Indefinite, allowing the Lunar to affect and guide social units as a Savant with Legitimacy unless the leader spends Loyalty to defame and oust her from her position. If the Mandate rules are not in effect, then the Lunar may instead target either a loose social group with War-Magnitude no greater than her Essence [Essence 4 = 151-300 people], such as a small merchant guild centralized in the South, or a geographically close social group with Mandate-Magnitude no greater than her Essence [Essence 4 = City-State like Lookshy or Paragon]. Her social attacks made against the targeted group affect all members of it.

The Stewards' abilities are infinite and without comparison... or so they trick others into believing. The greatest dissemblers amongst the Lunar Exalted can force themselves to believe this lie, and unlock hidden competence. The Lunar chooses an ability and rolls her own Manipulation+Performance against her own MDV, adding a number of successes equal to her Essence minus her rating in that ability; the more she knows, the harder it is to trick herself into performing better. On a success, she gains a temporary specialty of her choice in that ability.
Should the Lunar attempt to use this more than once for a single specialty in the course of a story, she immediately acquires that specialty as if she had undergone the full training time, costing the standard experience cost [3xp], which can force the Lunar into experience debt. Should she possess experience debt from any source, she cannot muster the energy to fabricate convincing enough lies to use this charm.
