Zin’s Edge - by Fifth

Artifact 4\\ Statistics: +5 speed, +5 acc, +5 dmg, + 5 def.\\ Commitment: 7 motes\\ Attunement: As Orichalcum\\ \\ The Zin’s Edge was created in the first age the Solar WarriorZinsEdge/Smith Zin, who wanted a weapon that suited his ideals perfectly. Zin’s Edge was the result.

Zin’s Edge is a standard Daiklave; four feet long, and about 6 inches wide, the blade is unusually simple. It goes straight up and down, without any decorations or marks. Made of Orichalcum, it’s very simplicity gives it a certain elegance.

System: Zin’s Edge has one major power: it was designed to accommodate the flow of multiple charms through it at once, at no cost. This has the following effect:

The wielder of Zin’s Edge can freely combo any melee charms they know through Zin’s Edge. This follows standard combo rules. However, this charm use still counts, so after channeling charms through Zin’s Edge, the wielder cannot use charms from any other abilities(even if they are in a combo with a melee charm). Also, if the character chooses to use a non-melee charm in a turn before channeling through Zin’s Edge, they cannot channel any charms through it that turn.

For example: Zin, when wielding this sword, makes an attack using Excellent Strike, Hungry Tiger Technique, and Fire and Stones Strike. This cost him 16 motes for Excellent Strike, 1 for Hungry Tiger, and 10 on Fire and Stones Strike, for a total of 27 motes, and no willpower. Later in the turn, Zin activates Heavenly Guardian Defense to defend against his opponents attacks, at its normal cost.

The next round, Zin decides to activate Flow Like Blood. That round, he cannot use any other charms, even by channeling them through Zin’s Edge.
