Second Edition Lunars Now Survival Charms

Whale-Breath Technique
Cost: 3m; Mins: Stamina 3, Essence 2; Type: Simple.

Duration: Stamina x10 minutes
Prerequisites: Any Stamina Excellency

This charm enables the Lunar to hold his breath for an extended length of time, ten minutes for every dot of Stamina he currently possesses. If he attempts to talk during this time, the charm's effects end.

Gill-Breathing Technique
Cost: 5m; Mins: Stamina 4, Essence 2; Type: Simple.

This charm grants the Lunar a fully functional set of gills, making him perfectly amphibious. For Lunars who will be underwater for extended periods, this charm can be kept on indefinitely by keeping the 5 motes committed.

Sealskin Endurance
Cost: 4m; Mins: Stamina 4, Essence 3; Type: Simple.

This charm enables the Lunar to survive comfortably in extremely cold conditions. He does not suffer from hypothermia, frostbite, immersion, snow-blindness, or any other conditions caused by extreme cold.

Heat-Adapting Method
Cost: 4m; Mins: Stamina 4, Essence 3; Type: Simple.

This charm, the converse of Sealskin Endurance, adapts the Lunar's body to survive incredible heat. He does not suffer from heatstroke, sand-blindness, or surburn, and he requires much less water.

Unerring Den-Finding Sense
Cost: 4m; Mins: Stamina 4, Essence 2; Type: Simple.

This charm allows a Lunar to find shelter from the elementals for himself and, if necessary, his allies. Finding shelter for himself is an automatic success when this charm is invoked; to find a shelter that can accomadate his allies, the must roll Perception + Survival at a difficulty equal to the number of people he is attempting to find shelter for.

Necessesities of Life Scenting
Cost: 5m; Mins: Stamina 4, Essence 2; Type: Simple.

This charm enables the Lunar to scour the area for food, water, firewood, and any other necessities of life. He can also provide for others, with a Wits + Survival roll equal to the number of people he is trying to accomodate.

Fortitude of the Auroch
Cost: 5m; Mins: Stamina 5, Essence 3; Type: Simple.

This charm allows a Lunar to ignore the effects of fatigue for 24 hours. He does not become fatigued from labor, carrying heavy loads, or from wearing armor. This charm does not, however, remove the need for sleep.

Pain-Numbing Prana
Cost: 2m; Mins: Stamina 3, Essence 2; Type: Reflexive.

Duration: Stamina + Resistance ticks.
Prerequisites: Any Stamina Excellency

This charm allows the Lunar to focus and block out pain impulses for a few critical seconds. For a number of ticks equal to his Stamina + Resistance, wound penalties resulting from bashing or lethal damage are nullified. However, wound penalties resulting from aggravated damage are still effective.

Luna's Blessing of Fortitude
Cost: 5m; Mins: Stamina 5, Essence 3; Type: Reflexive.

Prerequisites: Pain-Numbing Prana

This charm allows the Lunar to ignore all wound penalties, period. This lasts for a number of ticks equal to twice the Lunar's Stamina + Resistance. If the Lunar drops below Incapacitated, he may continue to re-invoke this charm a number of times equal to his Stamina. He will not pass out, nor will he die, even if he is reduced below the point where he SHOULD be dead. Once the charm ends, if the Lunar has been reduced below Incapacitated, he will collapse; if he has gone beneath his Dying health levels, he dies immediately.

Bruise-Relief Technique

This charm allows the Lunar to instantly heal bashing health levels, at a cost of two motes per health level.

Halting the Scarlet Flow

This charm allows a Lunar to convert lethal damage into bashing damage at a cost of 3 motes per health level.

Lick Wound
Cost: 2m/die or 3m/success; Mins: Stamina 4, Essence 3; Type: Simple.

Prerequisites: Halting the Scarlet Flow

This charm allows the Lunar to impart some of his own healing abilities to another, granting them an extra die for every two motes spend towards attempts to ward off infection or disease. The Lunar may purchase up to his Stamina in dice. If this charm is placed in a combo with Stamina Triumphant, automatic successes may be purchased instead, for a cost of 3 motes per success.

Mother's Touch
Cost: 2m, 3m, or 3m1w; Mins: Stamina 5, Essence 4; Type: Simple.

Prerequisites: Lick Wound

This charm allows the Lunar to directly heal another. For two motes, he may instantly heal a single bashing health level. For three motes, he may transform a level of lethal damage into a level of bashing. For three motes and one temporary willpower, he may transform aggravated damage into lethal. In any case, the Lunar may not transform more than his Stamina in health levels per application of this charm.
