Walking Fortress

Cost: 28
Target: Caster

The Walking Fortress spell was created by the twilight warlord Emerald Sage as a weapon for the many wars, he and his fellow members of the Golden Court of Day Circle fought against the "heretics" of neighbouring nations.

As the sorceror chants the words of the spell, his Anima banner seemingly explodes into existence, as had he expended massive amounts of essence. (Note that the cost of the spell will make the Anima banner of all but the most powerful exalted show anyway). But as the spell is cast and the anima banner becomes clearer and more radiant, it changes, becoming the great armored form of a royal warstrider. As the caster chants the final words of the spell, he quickly rises above the ground and is set in the chest of the essence giant.

Example: Emerald Sage´s own anima banner is a great green fortress like lighthouse with a circular arcane design on the lighthouse wall, When casting Walking Fortress, the fortress lighthouse not only springs into exsitence, it grows armored legs and arms, apparently lifting it self from its foundation, but still retaining its tower shape. When Walking Fortress is cast by Glorious Voice of the Heavens, a twilight musician with bird themed anima banner, the hundreds of golden songbirds that make up her anima banner, flocks into a semihumanoid form with the twilight at the middle of the form. When she moves a part of her essence war strider, the songbirds in that part of the strider move, singing beautifully as they do.

The essence warstrider wields a great shield and a glowing dailklave. The walking fortress last for one hour, but the caster may extended the duration by spending another 14 motes of essence, during the initial duration. The caster may dispel the construct at anytime but as long as the construct remains in existence, the solar is treated as if his anima banner was raging at its fullest effect.
