Twilight
A Twilight Caste Exalt's anima will absorb half of their Essence, rounded up, levels of damage from every attack that hits them while their anima power is active.
Night
The ability of a Hidden Sun to cloak themself in their anima adds their full Essence to the difficulty of attempts to perceive or track them. Additionally, when a Night Caste's anima banner reaches the 11+ mark, their shadowy, dark anima makes them harder to spot at a distance, adding (1/2 Essence rounded up) to their Dodge DV against ranged attacks.
