The Lost Continent

A Freehold of the Alien Princes and Princesses

Long ago, before the Harem Age, in the time of the Not Fun At All, Creation was vaster than it once was. Only two continents survive today, along with strings of islands, but in the distant shadows of the past, there were more continents, or so the legends say.

One of them was the Western Continent, the soggy land known as Mu'lantis. It was devoured by the Wyld during the Boyfriend-Seeking Crusade, and passed into the wildlands of Oniboshi, where it now resides, having been turned into a freehold by a band of Oni.

Or possibly it was destroyed and they recreated it from nothing. Who can tell?

The Outer Waypoints

Somewhere between thirty to fifty waypoints touch upon the shores of Mu'lantis; they are constantly reshaped by the rulers of the Lost Continent, turned into a variety of defensive measures. Certain waypoints seem to be most commonly found by those seeking the Lost Continent, however.

The Isle of the Sirens

Beautiful music marks the transition to this waypoint. It is a long rocky beach upon a rocky ocean with many rocks jutting up. Ships tend to be shaped into shipwrecks by the Sirens, who then save the capsized sailors and use their songs to shape them into obedient boyfriends. Eventually, they tire of the grovelling and sell the boyfriends off as slaves or as food for the hungrier inhabitants of Oniboshi.

The Isle of the Eye

This is a small, wet jungle island with an easy to land on beach. Those who land will find it easy to scavenge food. The food, however, puts them to sleep, and a giant green floating eye comes out as they sleep and turns them into its slaves, assuming they fall to its shaping attacks. The eye, however, cannot fight very well, and if challenged, grovels like crazy before anyone it can't shape. It has the annoying habit of referring to itself as 'Eye' instead of 'I' when using the first person. If anyone is stupid enough to believe its stories, it will tell them all about how it is the Eye of Otakuthon, really, using its shaping abilities to look omnipotent to the foolish Creation-born. If nearing death, it will rant about how its allies the Sirens will avenge it in hopes the PCs will go kill them too, as it sees the Sirens as rivals.

The Isle of Cutlery

At first glance, this rocky island seems quaint, even juvenile, as it is inhabited by sentient cutlery, about the size of an eight year old, with arms and legs. The inhabitants will be quite friendly to any visitors, trying to engage them in friendly conversation, offering directions, etc. However, if the visitors possess any cutlery, they will attempt to steal it and transform it into more of themselves, responding with brutal violence if caught. Anyone who uses cutlery to eat in front of them will also trigger homocidal mania, which given their delight in serving meals to guests, may get ugly...

The Reef of a Thousand Delights

The Reef of a Thousand Delights is a beautiful multi-colored coral reef big enough for you to easily dive down and swim around inside it. That's what it wants you to do, as it uses its powers to lure people into swimming around in it until it can drain all of their Conviction, leaving them as mindless shells which turn into fish and become part of the pretty trap ecosystem. It is full of 'treasures' which are just shaping, but intended to encourage exploration.

The Hideous Storm

A sentient storm assails intruders, seeking to batter their ships to bit and drain their Valor as fear fills them. Once your ship sinks, the only way out is to procede to the shore of the Lost Continent, assuming you can keep from drowning...
