All the Ride charms of the Helping Goddesses were originally developed to be used with skateboards and flying discs; in later ages, they have been extended to live mounts as well.
Stash Mount
- Cost: 1 mote
- Duration: Instant
- Type: Reflexive
- Minimum Ride: 3
- Minimum Moe: 2
- Prerequisite Charms: Expert Ride Protocol
With a gesture, you can stash your mount in Elsewhere or conjure it from Elsewhere. Live mounts still need food, so you had best send some food with them or not leave them there too long. (This Protocol was created for inanimate mounts who don't NEED food.)
Refuel Mount
- Cost: 3 motes
- Duration: Instant
- Type: Reflexive
- Minimum Ride: 4
- Minimum Moe: 2
- Prerequisite Charms: Stash Mount
This charm refuels your mount, refilling its tank to full. It works flawlessly on inanimate mounts. Used on a live mount, you must roll Wits + Ride with a difficulty of 3. If you succeed, your mount suddenly finds itself with a full day's meal in its stomach. If you fail, nothing happens. If you botch, the charm glitches and tries filling your live mount with oil or worse. Treat this as a difficulty 3 poison that does 2L if it makes the check and 6L if it does not.
Maintain Mount
- Cost: 5 motes, 1 WP
- Duration: One Hour
- Type: Speech
- Minimum Ride: 5
- Minimum Moe: 3
- Prerequisite Charms: Refuel Mount
Many artifact mounts require some degree of maintenance. Even live mounts require periodic reshoeing, brushing, checking for ticks, etc. This allows you to roll Intelligence + Ride with a difficulty of 2. Each extra success lets you do the equivalent of 10 hours of maintenance in one hour, even if you normally lack the skills to do the maintenance yourself. Live mounts gain bonus dice for a week equal to your extra successes to any rolls to resist disease, infection, and poison.
Ride Human
- Cost: 4 motes
- Duration: One Scene
- Type: Speech
- Minimum Ride: 2
- Minimum Moe: 1
- Prerequisite Charms: Basic Ride Protocol
This charm allows you to compel someone you know to carry you on their back for the rest of the scene. This only works on those of equal or less moe who are on at least friendly acquaintance terms with you. You can now use Ride charms on that person, should you find it useful or necessary. Or if you're just BORED.
Horsey Ride
- Cost: 6 motes
- Duration: One Scene
- Type: Speech
- Minimum Ride: 3
- Minimum Moe: 2
- Prerequisite Charms: Ride Human
This turns anything even vaguely horselike into a horse for you to ride. You can straddle a broom, climb onto a sawhorse, or even clamber onto and transform some person on their hands and knees. Sentients may resist this charm, rolling their Willpower against your Intelligence + Ride. Using this on an unwilling victim requires you somehow get them to stay in a horse-like pose with you on their back long enough to use this charm. Sentient subjects sink into animalistic obedience if they fail to resist it. Any subject reverts to normal when the charm fades. While it lasts, you can use any ride charms on them.
Conjure Flying Disc
- Cost: 10 motes, 1 WP
- Duration: One Day
- Type: Speech
- Minimum Ride: 4
- Minimum Moe: 3
- Prerequisite Charms: Horsey Ride
The Helping Goddess knows how to hack the Ultimate System to get it to cough up a Flying Disc for her. This holds up to two people, and moves at a speed of 10 * her Moe miles an hour. She adds her Moe to any Ride checks while piloting it.
Skate Ninja
- Cost: 3 motes
- Duration: One Scene
- Type: Speech
- Minimum Ride: 2
- Minimum Moe: 1
- Prerequisite Charms: Basic Ride Protocol
The Helping Goddess adheres firmly to her horse, dragon, riding dog, skateboard, or flying disc, so that she cannot be dismounted; should some effect try to move her against her will, it moves her mount with her if the person has more Moe than her, while otherwise, the effect fails entirely. This allows her to do stunts such as doing a handstand in the saddle automatically without needing to roll or even use an action for the task.
Mad Skating Skills
- Cost: 5 motes
- Duration: One Scene
- Type: Speech
- Minimum Ride: 3
- Minimum Moe: 2
- Prerequisite Charms: Skate Ninja
You can now ride your mount on anything solid--washing lines, walls, ceilings, trees, etc.
Infinite Canvas Movement
- Cost: 8 motes
- Duration: One Scene
- Type: Speech
- Minimum Ride: 4
- Minimum Moe: 3
- Prerequisite Charms: Mad Skating Skills
You can now ride your mount on things which normally can't support weight at all--liquids and air. When riding on air, trying to go up is slower than going down or level. The bottom of your mount has to remain oriented towards the ground below, or you will fall.
Union of the Snake
- Cost: 4 motes
- Duration: One Scene
- Type: Speech
- Minimum Ride: 2
- Minimum Moe: 1
- Prerequisite Charms: Basic Ride Protocol
The Helping Goddess can now use one charm per round on behalf of her mount, in addition to her normal charm limits. It is treated as if the mount used it, except for using her permanent Moe. For example, it could use her athletics charms to make miraculous jumps.
Shield of the Goddess
- Cost: 1 mote / +2 Soak
- Duration: One Scene
- Type: Speech
- Minimum Ride: 3
- Minimum Moe: 2
- Prerequisite Charms: Union of the Snake
The helping goddess can raise her mount's soak by 2 for every mote spent, to a limit of the soak of the armor she is wearing herself.
Combat Augmentation Protocol
- Cost: 5 motes
- Duration: One Scene
- Type: Speech
- Minimum Ride: 4
- Minimum Moe: 3
- Prerequisite Charms: Union of the Snake
While mounted, the Helping Goddess and her mount add her Ride to any attack or defense pools, and can use her Ride to reflexively parry a number of attacks a round equal to her Ride.
