>>>Using that argument I can argue that their should be no Dex charms becuase I don't want to hose a slow moving lizard exalt, and I could continue to use it with all attributes.<<<

Yes, and if that was the entire basis for the argument, it would be. But I specifically didn't want anyone hosed for choosing to play an ugly animal, not an ugly character. To take a hypothetical example, if Fair Folk had Charms based on their Attributes (they do not, this is an example) I wouldn't have any problems with them having Appearance- based Charms. But Lunars are not Fair Folk, and I didn't feel there were any particular powers that Lunars had that demanded a naturally high Appearance.

And to answer the ever-grumpy Jay, even if I thought there was something I had done wrong with Lunars, reversing myself would be the very worst decision I could make. It would alienate the not-inconsiderable number of people who are quite happy with Lunars as it stands, it would generate a lot of serious inconsistencies in the game world and in no way guarantee the approval of people who currently don't like it. I don't see how this would be a good design decision. I'm sorry you don't appreciate the Lunar viewpoint. I suspect you'll like Sidereals, and am not too sure about Abyssals.

If you didn't want anyone hosed by being ugly, why is it that three dots in Appearance are needed to reach level five on the Renown chart and four dots of Appearance are needed to reach level eight?
