Adjoran, the Silent Wind, once came to one of the Exalted of the Sun in his dreams dressed in the body of a beautiful young woman and by him, gave birth to six daughters. Four of Adjoran's daughters returned with her to Malfeas and became the Four Lesser Winds. Two remained with their father in Creation. Of these three, two grew up and lead lives as normal as any daughter of a Malfean and a Solar Exalted could. The third, a small girl named Asara, was not content to be another forgotten child of one of the great Princes of the Earth. Training under the Dawn Castes and the Chosen of Saturn, Asara was allowed to join the Legions of the Realm. There her power was tapped, her father's Essence and her mother's Primordial nature mixed in unexpected ways, creating a woman who, by her voice alone, could inspire a fang of men to destroy an army or turn an army of zealots into puling cowards. Asara's greatest surprise for those who had discounted her as a child was not becoming a General of the Legions or even gaining command of the 9th Legion, but becoming one of the Dawn Caste on her 34th birthday, in the middle of a battle with the Fae. A week after her Exaltation, Ashara was slain in her sleep by her seven Dragon-Blooded officers, all formerly loyal and trusted. As she died, the scream of rage that tore from her with her final breath scoured the souls of her killers with such force that they not only died, those of their direct blood, children, sibblings and parents, felt the pain and soon followed them into the Underworld. When The Silent Daughter of Wind and Light rose again as a Deathlord, part of a bargain between the Malfeans and the Yozis, she made her citadel on the Isle of Shadows, taking the ancient shipyard for herself and Exalting a trio of Daybreaks from the Western islands to aid her in building a fleet. So far, she has gone unnoticed by the Realm, though a Deathlord so close to the Isle can only remain hidden for so long. Of course, with the Silent Daughter, the question is: will she be discovered, or will she reveal herself with the essence-blasts of her warships?
