Combat

  • Extra Actions gained through charms are dealt with in a tiered format. Multiple actions from split die pools are taken on the character's normal initative.
    • i.e.: Solar Sally decides to activate Peony Blossom Attack. She gains 3 extra actions from it, for a total of 4 actions this round. Lunar Larry just declares he is going to split his die pool and make two attacks. Lets assume Sally gets the initiative over Larry, on Sally's initiative she takes just her first action. On Larry's turn he makes both of his attacks. Then Sally takes her other extra actions. Had Larry activated an Extra Action charm, the two of them would have switched on and off taking their attacks.

Artifacts

  • The Artifact Background may be purchased more than once, but only after it hes been taken to it's limit. (ie. once you have the background at 5, you may purchase it a second time, if you took that up to 5 as well, you can take it a third time.
  • Artifact armors have changed costs, due to the revised artifact creation rules presented in the Savant & Sorcery book.
    • 0 - Breastplate
    • 00 - Reinforced Buffjacket
    • 00 - Reinforced Breastplate
    • 000 - Articulated Plate
    • 000 - Superheavy Plate

  • Also the S&S book isnt clear on how to make artifact weapons, so here is a suggested method I got from the Exalted Redux forums.
      • To change a weapon's damage from bashing damage to lethal it costs a level one power effect.
      • In general, an artifact will have one power at its power level, or three powers at one level lower, or two powers at one level lower and three powers at two levels lower, etc.
      • To be clear, one of the above bonuses may NOT be applied to the same category, to get a higher bonus, you must take it as a higher Power.
    • Power One: +2 to any one statistic or +1 to any three statistics
    • Power Two: +4 to any one statistic
    • Power Three: +8 to any one statistic
    • Power Four: +10 to any one statistic
    • Power Five: Whatever the ST will let your sick and twisted mind get away with.

Firearms

Base Rule: Bullets cannot be dodged or parried without aid of a stunt or charms. Non-magical weapons are likely to be ruined, or at least very damaged by parrying a bullet.

  • Revoler: Accuracy [+1] Damage [4L] Range [20] Rate / Clip [2/6]
  • Resources Cost 000
  • Rifle: Accuracy [+4] Damage [8L] Range [100] Rate / Clip [1/1]
  • Resources Cost 0000
    • Dragon Wand: Accuracy [+3] Damage [7L] Range [50] Rate / Clip [3/8]
    • Artifact Rating 00, has one spot for a hearthstone
    • Dragon Staff: Accuracy [+5] Damage [10L] Range [300] Rate / Clip [2/4]
    • Artifact Rating 000, has two spots for hearthstones

Ammo cost a Resource 0 expenditure per shot.

  • Soft Lead Bullet: +2 damage
  • Fractured / Wax Sealed Bullet: +4 damage, but doubles armor soak
  • Steel Bullet: +0 damage, but halves armor soak
  • Alchemically-treated Clay Bullet: +2 damage, but all damage is bashing

Char-Gen

  • All characters start with an additional two dots in Virtues.

Group Specific

  • Solar
    • Although zombies aren't scared by a Zenith's Caste power, they are kept at bay by it. The distance are equal to the Zenith's Essence in yards.

  • Sidereal
    • The Artifact background grants artifacts at this rate: 1 = one level's worth, 2 = three levels' worth, 3 = five levels' worth, 4 = seven levels' worth, and so on at an odd numbered rate advencement.
    • The Allies background can be taken to count as other Exalted types that aren't subject to the Arcane Fate.

  • Alchemical
    • Getting bigger with Essence increases is a choice. Once the choice is made not to get bigger, then the Alchemical can never get bigger.
    • Installation costs for charms can be paid out of periphial, just like any artifact. The maximum amount of Installation costs that can be taken is limited by the Alchemical's personal essence pool score.

  • Fair Folk
    • When a shaping attack refers to a victim's Grace trait, creation born characters are penalized by their associated Virtue. i.e.: When Raksha Randy succeeds in a Valor Ravashing attempt against Solar Sally, she must spend 1 Wp to be around the subject of fear, that Randy would have specified, and her Valor in Wp points to actively attack or confront the fear.
