Alchemical Procedures

Adhesives (0 or 1, Int, 1-3, One hour)
Over the centuries, Alchemists have discovered numerous natural adhesives and by distilling, diluting, and combining them have made uncountable types of artifical ones of varying strengths and properties. Commonly known adhesives range in strength from a mildly sticky form that can barely keep two sheets of paper together to forms that will bond any two things together more or less perminantly. Glues from either of the two ends of the spectrum or ones with special properties (works underwater, remains sticky for long periods, only works on certain substances, etc.) are Initate rituals. All others are Apprentice rituals (which basically amounts to standard, weak, or strong versions of household glue/rubber cement).

Liquid Light (1, Int, 3, one hour)
This procedure creates 5 doses of a binary potion. When the two bottles are mixed, the resulting liquid glows with the same strength as a candle flame for an hour. The mixture remains good for a year if not used.

Instant Ice (1, Int, 3, one hour)
This procedure creates 5 doses of a binary potion. When the two substances are mixed, the resulting paste gets very, very cold. This lasts for roughly 5 minutes. It is mainly used for cold compresses and combating heatstroke. Do not ingest. There is a similar formula which produces a paste that gets very warm when mixed.
