Takht-e-Tavous, Goddess of Trafficking

Background: She started out as the peacock familiar of a First Age Sidereal who died during the Usurpation. Having received promotions and acquired intelligence, the now-free goddess set out immediately to look for ways to better her lot. With both Creation and Heaven in chaos, there were many such opportunities for her. She finally gained a staff position with the new god of trafficking, who had taken over just months earlier after the destruction of his predecessor. Within only a few centuries the goddess had set up a web of favors and bribes that allowed her to manipulate the Celestial censor Te Wei into removing the god from office, at which point she quite naturally took over his position.

Now, many centuries later, law-abiding Te Wei is still holding a grudge against her for being deceived and is closing in on her many secrets, causing her to seek out alliances with other beings of power, among them Burning Feather, the Lady of Intoxicants. She hopes to gain enough influence to protect herself before Te Wei finds evidence of her numerous offenses. Right now, she is not above listening to offers from powerful Exalts.
Appearance: Nine feet tall peacock with luminous coloring
Motivation: Amass enough influence to be safe from prosecution
Sanctum: A large lake surrounded by lush forests with a single island in the middle. A luxurious temple-like pagoda sits atop the island.
