SolarPermanent/SolarPermanant
Stuff.
Frankly, Neph's suggestion for the solar version of Essence Engorgement technique is horrible. You have a solar charm which should be either par or slightly supperior to it's abyssal version - but in practice is actually vastly weaker because the essence pool provided by it cannot be recharged except under an extremely limited circumstance in the solar version. Contrast this to Essence Engorgement technique, which can be recharged by one of the Abyssal exalted's main scticks: It's trivial to design a Abyssal combo which can refill your entire EET pools in one melee, and an abyssal acting according to his nature is going to have little difficulty refilling the pool even in creation. To an extent, I can see the reasoning for the Abyssals gaining slightly more efficient essence regen for their version. Theft /is/ more effective than heroic honesty in many situations, if one has no qualms about hurting others to do so. However, IMHO, the difference between EET's usability and Neph's suggestion for Solars is far, far too extreme. So. I made my own.
Blazeing Soul Discipline
Cost: N/A Duration: Permanant Type: Special Min. Survival: • Min Essence: • • Prereqs: None
The champions of the Unconqored Sun are the undisputed masters of essence, able to channel vast amounts of it, far beyond the dragonblooded and even other celestial exalts. Blazeing Soul Discipline is one of the techniques that makes this so. This charm can be taken a number of times equal to the Solar's Essence or survival, whichever is less. Each time it is taken, add a 'Blazeing Soul Pool' of 10 motes which are concidered peripheral. The Solar may regain motes to this pool equal to their highest virtue+essence by spending a temporary willpower point at any time. Motes in this pool never regenerate by any other means.
(Needs better flavor text. Must work on this.)
