Wounded Eagle killed some one. She killed many people. Without thought or mercy. Why? The money was good, working for the criminals in and around Nexus. She wasn’t the best at it, not by far. But simply possesing the will to enter the business was enough to get her by.
Until she was caught, like most criminals are. Tossed into a jail cell beneath some mountain. Left in the darkness and the cold for a long time. A long time to sit, and wait, and think. Spend long enough in the darkness and you forget your body is there. Only your thoughts exist, floating forever in the void around you. It drives some people mad.
Eventually, the prison was forgotten. The cells left to rot away, as were the prisoners inside of them. Everyone died. Except Wounded Eagle. Her temple falling apart around her, she stood for the first time in a long time. And then, she walked out quietly.
