SuturedDefenseValue/PoolConsistency
Since dice limits apply to pools, this variant attempts to make mechanics more consistent by treating everything as pool enhancement. In this variant, all success adders are treated as pool adders instead (see DissectingDefenseValue for what these terms mean). (External adders would still remain external adders.) Charm bonuses under this variation work exactly like the "pool method" does (see DissectingDefenseValue), but are applied at a different phase of the Order of Modifiers and the math is a bit simpler (since you do not have to track B separately). This has similar issues to the /LinguisticNormalization variation, where most situations will behave identically to the canon rules, but defense charms become essentially more vulnerable to entropic magic and internal penalties.
