Character Concept: Garin is the son of Daegath Tsoran, and Earth aspect Dragonblooded, General of the Third Legion of Glorious Sunrise, and Heliah Tsoran, Terrestrial sorceress of amazing skill and determination. Garin was raised as a scion of one of the greatest Terrestrial Exalted houses of the first age. Being of Pure blood, his father an Earth of great strength and martial prowess and his mother an Air aspect of immense Knowledge . With his Fiery Demeanor It was certain Garin would follow in his Grandfathers footsteps into the Exalted of the Fire Dragon. Yet shortly after his 15th birthday, while being tested by his father on combat techniques he Exalted, and became one of the Caste of the Dawn. Garin was then trained by the best tutors that could be found and his mother gave him instruction in the lore of the time and in all matters occult. Meeting Glorious Sunrise and the Daughter of Glorious Sunrise for the first time when he was 17 attending a Ball at their manse, Gavin became involved in a heated argument involving one of his Dragonblooded cousins. Daughter of Glorious Sunrise intervened and was reshaped by the Unconquered Sun surprising them all into stunned silence. It was then that Gavin Fell into a love that would never be allowed. Garin then Traveled the Breadth of Creation for the next two years on his initiation into the Terrestrial circle. When he returned he found his father as he had never seen this man he looked up too. His Father was fearful, Fearful for the life of his lord and the life of his son. Garin’s father had heard inklings of the usurpation and had prepared a means of hiding Garin from its grasp. Gavins father gave up his White jade Daiklave to his son and sent along 5 of his best guardsmen. Gavins mother placed a spell of concealment upon him and told him where to meet up with Daughter of Glorious sunrise. Daegaths last words to his son were to protect Daughter of Glorious Sunrise and that He would be able to catch her at Chiaroscuro.

Sounds very interesting. I would only change minor things... Generally that you wouldn't know it as the Userpation. There were rumors of peasant revolts. That was making the other exalts very... edgy. Being a family friend you would know Glorious Sunrise on a business level, and he would have seen your attraction to his daughter and been very against it. Seeing that he's protective of her, he might have gone as far as seeing that you recieved orders to serve elsewhere (like Chirouscuro) where you would be as far away from her as possible. Storm on the Horizon would have heard of you likely, from the same source he heard about Saba. (would you know her as Saba?) And he would have gladly come to get you, recuting you for your willingness to be a guardian to Saba, taking up the mantle that her father carried as her protector and guardian.
