Devil Hammer

Level 5 Artifact...?

A huge 8' long Grand Goremaul made of Brilliant White Jade carved with a multitude of images of the Slaying of the Primordials.

It has the Stats of an Immaculate Goremaul, but does Aggravated Damage to Demons and has a couple of extra abilities

Grand Goremaul Speed +0, Accuracy +0, Damage +14L, Defence -1, Min S5 Includes material bonus.

In the hands of an Earth Dragon Path Immaculate

Spd +3, Acc +1, Dmg +14L, Def -1, Min S2, Includes material bonus.

Costs 8 motes to attune (16 if not Dragon-Blooded).

For 10 motes it can be used to strike the earth to cause damage to an item or creature upto wielder's Essence x 10 yards away as the ground beneath it explodes upwards - note, the target does not have to be touching the ground, the explosion reaches a height of wielders Ess x 5 yards.

For 20 motes + 1 Willpower + 1L HL it will, upon the next successful strike, do damage equal to it's base damage + Wielder's Essence, regardless of the creatures soak (or oversoak as the case may be...). The next strike MUST be within the wielder's Essence in Turns, else the effect dissipates, causing another 1B HL.

All damage caused by this mighty weapon occurs by transforming part of the target (or the wielder) to earth, stone and dust, but can be healed normally.

Knowledge of the latter two powers has long since been forgotten with the passing of the First Age.
