Burning Phoenix Melee Style

Background
This flexible and powerful Style was generally used by the Solar Exalted of the First Age, to supplement their other combat abilities, as well as inflict vast amount of damage against powerful opponents such as Behemoths, and powerful Demons. It is compatible with all weapons.
Charms
Burning Essence Sutra</b>

Using this Charm the Solar Exalted focuses their Essence into their weapon causing it to burn momentarily with the pure energy of their Solar Essence. The weapons base damage is increased by the Solar Exalted's Essence rating for a single attack.
Like all Burning Phoenix Charms this Charm may be freely combo'ed with Charms of other abilities that supplement hand to hand attacks.
Rebirthed Perfected Strike</b>

Using their knowledge of their weapon's balance, and Essence the Solar Exalted enhances the accuracy of a single attack with a weapon. This attack may be resolved using the appropriate combat ability of the characters choice. No more dice can be added to the attack than the Characters Dexterity + Melee or Dexterity + Appropriate combat ability, whichever is lower. Like all Burning Phoenix Charms this Charm may be freely combo'ed with Charms of other abilities that supplement hand to hand attacks.
Rebirthed Perfected Strike is considered an alternate form of Excellent Strike and serves as a prerequisite for Charms based on that Charm.
Slashing Talon Attack</b>

Drawing upon the power of their Essence to strike a telling blow, the Solar Exalted doubles any additional attack successes they score on the attack, for purposes of damage inflicted.
Like all Burning Phoenix Charms this Charm may be freely combo'ed with Charms of other abilities that supplement hand to hand attacks.
This Charm is considered to be an alternative version of Hungry Tiger Attack, and servers as a basis for any Charms that have that Charm as a prerequisite.
Swooping Parry Defense</b>

Extending the technique of Slashing Talon Attack into turning aside enemy blows the Solar Exalted supplements a single parry with a number of automatic successes equal to their Essence score, so long as the attack parried is a Hand to Hand attack.
Like all Burning Phoenix Charms this Charm may be freely combo'ed with Charms of other abilities that supplement hand to hand attacks.
Burning Phoenix Stance</b>

Spreading their weapons away from their body slightly as counterbalance the Solar Exalted adopts the sweeping, turning combat style of the Phoenix, great arcs parrying enemy's attacks, while delivering lethal attacks of their own. While this Charm is in effect the Character raises the difficulty of all hand to hand attacks against them by their Essence score and may add their Melee to the raw damage of any Hand to Hand attack they make. The Burning Phoenix Stance is an exacting Charm learned by hard discipline, unforgiving in its control of the character's Essence. Like similar Charms in other highly dedicated styles of melee combat it is not compatible with Charms of its own kind, any Charm that has a similar disclaimer cannot be used in conjunction with the Burning Phoenix Stance, unless it is another Burning Phoenix Charm.
Churning Essence Redirection</b>

This Charm may be reflexively invoked whenever the Character succeeds in a Parry against a Hand to Hand attack. It returns the attack complete with its original attack roll, Charms and other effects to the attacker, literally driving their weapon or hand, into their own body. Their attacker may attempt to parry or dodge the attack as normal with what defenses they possess, but do not gain any particular resistance, even to their own attack Charms that are returned. This Charm is a counterattack Charm and therefore is not compatible with Charms such as Steel Devil Style nor can it be invoked in response to other counterattack charms. This Charm cannot be used to return Perfect or Near Perfect effects, even in a Combo with a Perfect Defense.
Fiery Essence Block</b>

The Character lashes out with a powerful Essence enhanced parry, deflecting without rolling a single hand to hand attack that they are aware of even if the attack cannot normally be parried. Please note, this cannot deflect ranged attacks as Heavenly Guardian Defense can. This Charm is considered to be an alternative version of Heavenly Guardian Defense, and servers as a basis for any Charms that have that Charm as a prerequisite.
Fiery Essence Strike</b>

Focusing the raw power of the Fiery Essence Block into an attack, the Solar Exalted inflicts terrible wounds upon their opponent. Their weapon becomes more energy than form for the space of a single attack, its base damage becomes Strength + Essence Aggravated.
Like all Burning Phoenix Charms this Charm may be freely combo'ed with Charms of other abilities that supplement hand to hand attacks.
Burning Response Prana</b>

Drawing upon their mastery of redirection and deflection. The Solar Exalted expands their abilities at each. The Solar Exalted invoking this Charm may parry without rolling any single attack they are aware of even attacks that may not normally be parried, further if the attack is a Hand to Hand attack it is deflected back upon the attacker, exactly as it came to the Solar Exalted. Even Perfect and Near Perfect Attacks may be deflected in this way. This Charm is a counterattack Charm and therefore is not compatible with Charms such as Steel Devil Style nor can it be invoked in response to other counterattack charms.
Phoenix Unleashed Stance</b>

The Solar Exalted focuses their power into their weapon, temporarily transforming it into a blazing mass of pure solar power. The weapons damage rating is replaced with +Essence Aggravated. (The weapons base damage becomes Strength + Essence Aggravated) for the rest of the scene. The Phoenix Unleashed Stance is an exacting Charm learned by hard discipline, unforgiving in its control of the character's Essence. Like similar Charms in other highly dedicated styles of melee combat it is not compatible with Charms of its own kind, any Charm that has a similar disclaimer cannot be used in conjunction with the Phoenix Unleashed Stance, unless it is another Burning Phoenix Charm.
