Autocthon and the end of the Second Age

After his return to Creation and his re-empowerment via the Well of Souls and the Eye of Autocthon, the Great Maker, indignant at the deriliction of the Celestial Incarna and the mess that has been made of the world in his absence, took some of the new power at his disposal and created a new type of Exalted.

These are the Chosen of No One, mortal men and women defined by their actions and natures and made greater by power forged from human souls and the pure Essence of the heavens.

They are the Heroic Exalted.

To excell in their newfound gifts they must achieve excellence not only in the skills they wield, but within their bodies, spirits, and minds as well. To become truly powerful as a Heroic Exalted is a challenge worthy of heroes and in the dangerous Third Age of Man, heroes are needed more than ever before.
