He was born into a merchant family based out of Icehaven. At age 16, he inherited the business when the plague hit his hometown. At age 19, his betrothed drowned herself. At first he thought it was because she didn't want to marry him, which is kinda depressing, 'cause you know, he's a nice guy, in love, and his would-be bride kills herself rather than be with him. BAM! Sucker punch. By the time it was discovered that she actually killed herself because she got drunk at a party and slept with some other guy, he had already signed over his company to her brother and had hit the road. He wandered the world, an empty shell of a man, for three years. He was lying in a Nexus gutter, drunk and stoned out of his mind, when he was Exalted. Needless to say, it was a bit of a shock. He immediately cheered up, his perceived inferior quality as a person offset by the fact that he could now punch through walls and run across rooftops like a ninja. He may be smart, but he's by no means mature. Since that fateful day, six years ago, he has wandered the length and breadth of Creation, doing whatever he pleases.

He does not touch liquor or drugs and is largely celibate.

He enjoys spicy foods, sleeping outdoors, bright colors, sunny days, sunflowers,and butterflies.

He hates the cold and things with lots of legs and/or exoskeletons, but prefers to run from them rather than squash them with malice.

Favorite color dark grey, lucky number 13.

He is serene, very laid-back, largely non-judgemental, and talks a lot. If he is complaining, it doesn't mean he actually wants anyone to do anything about it, he's just stating a fact. He has a slight masochistic streak and is into flogging.

He's about 6'2", and a shade under 145 pounds.

He plays Go (the Oriental board game with the white and black rocks and the 19x19 grid) and rock-paper-scissors.

He has an emotional attachment to his wide-brimmed hat of woven reeds.

He is well-disposed to Abyssal and Terrestrial Exalts as individuals but not to the Realm and the Abyssal forces as a whole. He absolutely hates the Sidereals and will attack them at minimum and often kill them if he can. It's very entertaining for him to see the stark terror on their faces as he chases them.

He is trying to find the Scarlet Empress, not for any particular reason, just because he's curious.
