Han'ya/CrocSeph
"Crocodile" Seph
Caste: Dawn
Concept: Jungle Fighter
Motivation: Popularize the South-East as a vacation region
Backstory
Born to a family of semi-respectable merchants, the child who would later be known as Seph was born in a backwater trading outpost in the South-East. Shortly after birth, he wandered off into the jungle and miraculously managed to survive for three full days before he was found by the Crocodile Tribe, a group of natives who resided deep in the jungle and served the ancient crocodile god Kha-Zai-Khem. He was raised by them, and was as such taught their mad jungle-surviving skillz. Upon reaching adulthood, he Exalted and was exiled. He hired himself out as a wilderness tour guide, using his prodigious skills at survival to earn himself a living. He has, over the course of his thirty-year life, guided everyone form Lookshy special forces to wealthy Realm tourists. He acquired his unusual nickname because of the long crocodile-leather coat he wears, made from the skin of a gargantuan croc that he killed with his bare hands. (Shortly thereafter, he was Exalted and told to kick ass in the Sun's name.)
He uses his trusty twin firewands and his machete with a skill few can rival, and has amassed quite a fortune by robbing tombs and guiding wealthy tourists. He uses most of it to fund an advertising campaign in the Scavenger Lands, trying to popularize the South-East as a vacation area for the wealthy or simply the very very brave.
He is tall, black, unshaven and unwashed, and speaks with the Tree-tongue equivalent of a Southern accent. His hair is naturally dreadlocked, and is decorated with everything that could even be remotely considered a hair ornament in his possession. This is everything from wooden beads to human knucklebones to an exquisite electrum-and-diamond hairpin he filched from a wealthy Dynast lady.
He does not drink or take drugs, and is largely celibate, stating when asked that he believes in monogamous relationships and that he prefers killing large animals anyway. He is not impulsive, and can be sometimes distant and cold. He is somewhat untutored in the ways of society, and has a tendency to use violence when diplomacy might be more effective. This springs not from stupidity but from a somewhat unusual upbringing.
