The Exalt adopts the attitude of a proud grandparent admiring the newest member of their lineage. While the Charm is active, the target (generally an infant) is always calm and civil (and generally happy) while in the presence of the Exalt unless actively provoked. Mechanically, this allows the Exalt to add her Essence to any social roll made involving the target, directly or indirectly. This Charm cannot be used on any nonliving or nonsentient being, or any sentient being with unspent Willpower. Those who have spent all their Willpower are subject to the effects of the Charm as normal, though Exalts may roll their Willpower to resist the effects of this Charm at a difficulty of the user's Essence. Those who fail the roll are well aware that they are being coddled like children, but are either generally too weary to resist or sort of enjoy it anyway. The motes spent to activate this Charm are considered committed until the Exalt chooses to end it or the effect is broken by the target gaining Willpower.
