Half Caste Character Creation
Step One:
Select heritage and determine motivation
Heritage: Chose your heritage from the list bellow, Half Caste will use the charms of their parents and gain the attunement bonus with the appropriate magic material.
Golden Child: The Children of the Solar Exalted who share a measure of their progenitors perfection.
Moon Born: The offspring of the Lunar Exalted, tricksters and fierce warriors often found leading tribes and warbands in the service of the Silver Pact.
Star Blessed: The progeny of the mysterious Sidereals who are said to share in their fate weaving abilities.
Dragon Touched: Said to be mortals who have been blessed by the elemental dragons, Dragon Touched may one day Exalt and join the Terrestrial host.
Shade Walker: Sired by the deadly Abyssal Exalted the Shade Walkers are a dark mirror of the Lawgivers own Golden Children.
Hellspawn: The resultant offspring of couplings with Infernal Exalted, Hellspawn are thankfully extremely rare.
Machine Blooded: Not actually true Half Caste at all but mortals from Autochthonia who's bodies have been adapted to accept Alchemical Charms.
Step Two:
Determine Favoured Attributes 6/5/3
Step Three:
Note Favoured Abilities (2) Chose Attributes (22) At least 1 dot must go in each favoured ability
Step Four:
Chose Backgrounds (6) Charm (1) and Virtues (5- none may be higher than 3 without spending bonus points)
== Step Five: == Record Essence (2) Determine Essence Pool (Essence x 10 + willpower) and health levels (7 plus any obtained from charms)
Bonus Points (15) can be spent at any time during character creation.

General Half Caste rules
A Half Caste resists disease poison and infection as though they were exalted and can soak damage with half their stamina. They also suffer from a version of the Great Curse appropriate to their exalted parents. All Half Caste have an ability to detect Exalted of their parent’s nature, this is activated reflexively at the cost of 1 mote.
- Martial Arts
Half Caste can teach themselves the appropriate "hero styles" as though they were the appropriate exalt. However this is where their ability to learn Celestial Martial Arts ends. From this point onward they are limited only to the various Terrestrial Martial Arts.
- Sorcery and Necromancy
Half Caste are not as skilled at manipulating essence as Exalted, they may learn either Terrestrial Circle Sorcery or Shadowlands Circle Necromancy but never both.
- Essence
Like God Blooded Half Caste may not exceed essence 3, though they display many traits of exalted they are not and their bodies would simply not survive this process of reaching essence 4.
- Anima
When A Half Caste uses approximately a third of their essence (rounding fractions down) their bodies are surrounded by an aura of suitably coloured essence. They do not have the anima flux of Dragon-Blooded nor the totemic display of essence that most Celestial Exalted have. Some Half Caste display a dull caste mark on their chest or forehead.
- Perfect Defence
Half Caste are mere shadows of Exalted perfection and must pay 1 willpower to invoke a perfect defence. If the charm cost already requires the expenditure of willpower then it is unaffected by this rule.
Notes on different heritages
Moon Born- Like their Lunar parents many of the Moon Born can (should the need arise) alter their form into that of a terrifying fusion of beast and man some have less choice in the matter- being born as Beastmen or reshaped by the energies of the Wyld. Moon Born can select a single favoured attribute used when determining charm costs and may purchase Deadly Beastman Transformation knack as though it were a charm (unfavoured). Like Lunar Exalted Moon Born may purchase Wyld poxes, afflictions and blights at character creation with the permission of the Storyteller.
Star Blessed- While they wield some of the auspicious powers of their Sidereal parents the Star Blessed lack their connection to the Five Maidens and are thus unable to use any charms that require the Maiden’s permission to invoke.
Dragon Touched- Though not technically Dragon-Blooded and have no anima power to speak of a Dragon Touched does have an elemental aspect chosen by the player at character creation. Like Dragon-Blooded themselves they pay a surcharge on out of element charms.
Machine Blooded- Machine Blooded select a single favoured attribute in addition to their favoured abilities, this is used for determining charm cost.

Notes
The willpower cost may be a little harsh for Star Blessed with duck fate but I'll address that when MoEP Sidereals is available.
Machine Blooded added because- well why not? It goes without saying that they're not canon nor are they my idea.
