Upright Soldier Style

My goal here is to create a Shogunate era martial art that suits Lookshy's way of doing things in the Age of Sorrows. I imagine this to be a defensive style focused upon taking and holding ground. It should remain elementally neutral (even if it seems to have a lot of Earth themes at the moment).I also want it to be comparable to Five Dragon Style and not in a "this is what Five Dragon Style wishes it was" kind of way.

Prerequisite Charms: None
Instead of pushing forward the Dragon-Blooded and her companions can choose to stubbornly hold the line for as long as necessary.
Until she moves next the Martial Artist becomes immune to knockback, she may also increase her bashing soak by two or her lethal soak by one for each mote spent. The maximum number of motes spent on this charm cannot exceed the number of participants nor the highest Martial Arts rating in the group.

Upright Soldier Form
Cost: 5m Mins: Martial Arts 4, Essence 2 Type: simple

Prerequisite Charms: Fortress Wall Resolve
Even as a battle takes its toll the Upright Soldier endures. The Martial Artist may soak lethal damage with her full bashing soak and any shield that she's using adds a further +1 bonus to parry defence value. Furthermore she adds +1 success to all combat related actions if she’s sustained wounds or is suffering from fatigue based penalties.

Thunderous Encroaching Phalanx
Cost: 5m Mins: Martial Arts 5, Essence 3-4 Type: simple

Duration: One-Scene
Prerequisite Charms: None
Taking the lessons they learnt from Fortress Wall Resolve the Dragon-Blooded and her brotherhood push forward and advance as one.
Activating this charm enhances Fortress Wall Resolve for all participants allowing them to advance (retreating withdraws the benefits as normal) without forgoing the increased soak and immunity to knockback. Furthermore each member of the formation ignores multiple attack penalties equal to half their permanent essence.
