I Am
I am the all-revealing sunbeam, the lone soldier bravely facing a sea of destruction, the fantasies of a child staring at the sky, the glimmer of purpose in the hero's eye. I am the naked truth, the boundless will, the wisps of a thousand imaginings.
Give me your clarity. Give me your dreams. Give me your life's determination.
Give me these things, and I will press them to my wounded eyes, to add to all the other things I seek to dry my bloody tears with.
Then, maybe, I will be made whole.
