BlackFlame/AlternateSignatureCharacters

This is for a challenge located here. I'm making this circle based in the Scavenger Lands since I'm replacing the Signature Circle, who are based in SL. I'm trying to get one from each major region...but I'm kinda stuck on a couple of them. I have most of their stories already worked out in my head, I just haven't had time to put pen to paper...er...finger to keyboard.

Vengeful Crow - Dawn

Backstory

Once there was a small village in the eastern part of the Hundred Kingdoms. Its name was only known by a handful of people, and has been lost to even those. The one remarkable thing about the village was its extremely talented smith, who attracted people from from weeks travel away due to his skill. This smith had a son, who due to his almost constant work at the forge he was continually covered in soot, and due to this he picked up the nickname Crow. It was assumed that Crow would learn the trade from his father, and then continue the family business. However this did not come to pass.

When he was 13 years old Crow's village was raided by beastmen from the east. Houses where burned, men were killed, and women where herded off...taken back to where the beastmen came from. Crow narrowly escaped by hiding in a forge that wasn't lit at the time. He watched everything he loved be destroyed in front of his eyes. Once the destruction was done he emerged, and began to shift through the ashes of what had used to be his home for the few things worth saving. He then set off, never to return again. That day he dedicated his life to one thing, vengeance.

Crow became a wanderer, always seeking to increase his strength, always seeking his vengeance. He became known as Vengeful Crow, a swordsman who would take any job no matter how difficult, if the price was right. He saw many strange sites, and killed many strange things. He saved some villages, and caused the destruction of others. The only constant in his life was battle.

Current

Sellsword / Samurai. Wandering "hero for hire" from the Hundred Kingdoms his exaltation made much him more noble. He's out to find the Lunar whose beastmen destroyed his town and killed his father, started on quest before exalting.

Zenith

Current

Marukani Horseman. Exalted defending his home and loved ones from an incursion from Thorns. Rides the Scavanger Lands with his trusted horse companion. Has earned the trust of the Marukan by his actions, and through them tales of his deeds have spread to Lookshy.

Master Berel - Twilight

Current

Archaeologist / Adventurer. Was a teacher at the university in Great Forks specializing in First Age lore. Explored ruins but was interested in knowledge not wealth. Wants to make the world a better place, with the help of Wonders thought lost. Knows some thaumaturgy, to get past wards before he Exalted. Think Indiana Jones with two plasma tongue repeaters.

The Justicar, aka "Jus" - Night

Current

Street Rat / Vigilante. Grew up on the streets of Nexus. Didn't like the huge difference between the haves and the have nots so he decieded to do something about it. Protects those who cannot protect themselves. Think Batman...or Nightwing...more NW. Toying with the idea of giving him a Bat totem Lunar Mentor.

Eclipse

Current

Ranger / Spy. Lookshyan Ranger. Trained from a very young age to be a badass with weapons and words. Very much a smooth operator. Think James Bond.
